  6. 2 days from the first case being found and the banning of exports. Yes it was our falt but it was hardly are fault that the dutch goverment decided to slaughter a quarter of a million animals that had been vaccinated.
  7. Around 2000 I used to work for a project coppicing alder in south shropshire, we had a towable kiln that was computer controlled and could be run 24 / 7 without having to be relit. It had its draw backs and there was inprovments that could of been made but I thought it was a great bit of kit.
  8. Having in the past done lots of rights of way works, the most common coment by land owners and other parties was well what a waste of money, no one ever walks it.   9. Just had plasters in for a new ceiling on a insurance job, pint mugs of tea, biscuits, bacon rolls, sausage rolls etc . They ended up fixing some broken slabs on the steps and patio, some render around the corner that was falling off and various othere bits and pieces all without being asked, oh and they fixed the roof of the conservatory.

  12. In a attempt to stop flooding in the larger towns down stream they have let the rivers silt up.

  14. To tell the truth I like it, most of my contracts for the council are labour only. For me it works I always budget that they will take 20 per cent and it means comes the end of the tax year I get a nice fat rebate.
  15. I do lots of Public rights of way work for the council, and they always deduct my tax under the cis scheme. Its not construction work at all but it work well for me.
  16. On the tenders, the prices listed are not guide pricess they are prices simular items have achived befor. According to the blarb on there web site.

  18. Lower tyre pressure has got me out of many a hole, and by lower I mean dangerously lower.
  19. When I was doing the brush cutter course it was a requirement to run the engine at full revs and not to run it up and down all the time. Something about the clutches being designed to run that way.
