  1. 2.5 litre turbo high /low diff lock Pto, for hydraulics. currently powering winch. connectors back and front. tipper. ugly as hell but a great tool. Nicer to drive which I was very surprised about ?
  2. Used Forsyth training for all my Tickets. He travels and i can highly recommend him.
  3. Nice to read you Geof! Very sad indeed, I was thinking of Felix as I knew him just the other day while sitting having lunch in the woods! 1 of those big smile moments followed by the sobering reality.
  4. Unless you are organised ! so many guys are just plane untidy!
  5. Grading beams are great. Always enjoy doing jobs sat in a warm cab with Music on when I used to have to do it by hand, soaked!
  6. The tag along free labourer is commendable and will go a long way with the owner, climber driver sized outfits. On time, 90% good guy, not on phone, 5% more, eating with mouth open and talking shite about fitba and fighting, -200%. Good luck. TomD on here would be worth a PM
  7. That time of year again.
  8. Looking forward to episode 2, why do undertakers use Coffins?? simple waste management techniques that have developed and improved. Not every job is the same, not every customer requires the same. somedsys it's bury, bonfire, pile it up or chip! Whatever suits best
  9. Rob, be reassured by the comments on your thread that you are well respected and appreciated! Put it down to Monday morning blues! You are sound, I still laugh about our chat 10 years ago on the phone! You laughing about how quick I spoke and being excited!?
  10. press 1 for spare parts, you press 2 for sales, salesman. press 3 for after sales if you were a bigger company you would have a salesman, salesman don't have your moral code, they would sell the punter the most profitable kit for your business and their percentage.? 3 is the person you employ who is a complete bullshitter and will just blah their way out of a refund and then back to number 2 for sales.? This is business, you like to help, either charge for your time helping, advising or keep doing what you are doing or chunk up and chase the £'s.?
  11. I can’t fault the Isuzu Utah, it’s my main car and work horse. Good fuel economy, heated leather seats and automatic and spend your money on a good back tool storage and canopy and you keep all the mess and smells in there. I’m on forest tracks and always needing to drive on grassed area and get snow and ice 4 months of the year so need the 4x4, if you don’t then any car or wee van will do, just keep it clean and tidy. Vans and cars are only stinking messes if you let it get that way. Some big plastic boxes for your stuff in a boot keeps everything tidy and the back clean.
  12. Pics please Donk!?
  13. Little Cats 7 years old now since starting this thread and never missed a beat. Out earning her crust on Loch Ness.
  14. Any pics?
  15. If you rate climbers say 1-10, then you will fit in somewhere. Loads of 1's about making a wage. crack on I say.
  16. You should be VERY proud of yourself!! Amazing, a true friend
  17. Well deserved David!
  18. It’s already Timberwolf Orange! Cheap, eye catching and very cool bordering on daft, the perfect Arb Truck imo. its on EBay at £2250 so far. Someone on here needs this in their life.
  19. I was working with some other lads on Thursday, just chipping for an hour while they cut using 2 stroke! My head hurt, my mood changed and I felt like crap and was gasping! Horrible stuff.
  20. I swapped and didn’t do anything. there’s something about the fuel line cracking if it’s had petrol in before, but I’ve never had any probs. your lungs and head will thank you for the change .
  21. Gravity fed small pto chipper would work away fine, I sold 1 to Wilson’s 2 years ago. Make sure the hopper is as close to vertical as possible
  22. Totally agree, if you have a clean hard standing yard, forklift all the way!
