  1. Don't be so sexist, I'm sure there's lots of bored house husbands that would buy a few!
  2. Next week it will be a mewp conny topping job!!
  3. Gotcha, 3 feet is huge in your eyes!!!
  4. They don't need to be huge to be tricky! Why's it always sycsmore ? Great job, that's where the extra lad makes a huge diference.
  5. Your better to do a speed line yourself and take a bunch if slings and use a big prussik loop to attach to the tree and that way you can lengthen or shorten the rope yourself. Tbh a lot of the time I used to use my side strop just to cut the limb and get it vertical and then in clip it and throw down. This only usually happens when your not experienced enough to know better to wait and use a Groundie ,or to be able to read the tree before climbing it.
  6. Me too, I've had the diet coke can waved at me a few times in my early twenties. Now they usually shout ' I'm calling the council '!!
  7. If its first thing in the morning, been wet for days and there's a few doggy treats in the garden then I just grab the shovel and usually a minute sorts it out, no drama! I do have a lot of other nastier stories from over the years, and not all a dog treats!!!!
  8. :laugh1:Jonny there's no cheap quick shortcut to Mog Utopia:sneaky2: Just go and buy an Agg spec Mog, simples:biggrin:

Get the blades sharpened or turn them over if there's a sharp side:biggrin:
  10. They don't make hinges like that anymore!!! Proper job!
  11. Transplanted 2 conifers today, it wasn't a job that needed any sort of TLC!
  12. Search micro Chippers and Shreks wee chipper.
  13. It depends on how efficient you want it to be. Surface moisture will dry off quicker than internal, that's a no brainier. Will sap cause more harm than water in the flu, that is the question we've all failed to answer . Lets try and find some facts
  14. Rig up some pythene or tarps internally over the joists to protect the logs.
  15. Moisture is moisture. Pointless burning wet logs. I'd get the roof fixed or a big cover over the logs. If you haven't got pallets under them then the ones lowest on the pile will be rotting and mouldy .
  16. I wouldn't want someone sitting on 1 of my saws!
  17. Wow, that's a big lump! Any more pics:001_smile:
  18. I can't believe they just didn't shove it over with the skid steer!!
