  1. Muck trucks are good for Muck, hense the name ' muck truck ' Tracked barrows are far superior for shifting timber .

  7. If your being sensible, take my advice and don't buy 1 unless you can leave a worker and transport to tidy while the climbing team move on to the next job.

  10. In a pine forest! It's in the woods at Boat of Garten just off the Forestery trail. It was on a forwarder track.

  12. You need a good slagging from other climbers that your a big girl and need to man up, also having kiwi fruits fired at you from a big shot will take your mind off the negatives
  13. A boxer is a lot of money! Loaders are great if you run 2 vehicles, if not your always going to have to do 2 runs or have a day to lift timber etc. Now with the current demand for logs I don't see the need for removal of timber, get yourself some good firewood guys and they will carry it all out for you and take it away, organise nieghbours to help themselves too. It will only make you money if it gets you to your next dismantle quicker, that's the cream money, tidying up and removal of wood is low earnings so I avoid as much as possible. If you want to earn good money, but a micro chipper and take nothing away.

  20. That's how I do it and then fell it on a Ford Fiesta 2 doors down
  21. We pay £100 for ours to get done. This gets a sweep, smoke test and a hetas certificate . 2 men about an hour.
  22. I do cleaning of stuff I'll have you know! it consists of a unimog, pto pressure washer, 2 ibc's ready mixed with filiment remover and a 7m lance. Oh and a 12m manitu and basket! There's always a way to over horsepower any job:)
