  1. Lucky it's not in the UK. There'd be major problems with leaves on the tracks:001_smile:

Trees Get Wheeled Away by Bright Eyes.
  5. You inadvertantly attached a pic that really should have stayed on your PC.
  6. Nice lamp:thumbup1:
  7. I studied them in Spain. If a Gun mistook one of those for a greylag then he'd need his eyes testing!
  8. I'd have missed the log:001_smile:
  9. I know someone that did that too. Soon sorted the problem out:thumbup1:
  10. Cartridges are dear and no one will have any if you run out:001_smile: Apart from that lovely size.
  11. Wrong on both counts! Thanks for id. I'd discounted Inonotus for some reason.
  12. Is this Rigidiporous or weathered Gano? Probably wrong on both counts:001_smile:
  13. My Dad found an old rusting sub-machine good on an old training camp. Had many happy hours with it as a kid:thumbup1:
  14. Maybe the world should be run by kids:thumbup:
  15. I've had Nissan, Isuzu, Toyota and Mitsubishi over the years. All been reliable and covered many miles. Take your pick:001_smile:

Excellent but the rich man stays rich:001_smile:
  17. Rossi; a ground dog.
  18. This is the first time I've, knowingly, observed roundup damage like this. Thank you. I had expected a physical contact/union necessary between the trees.
  19. Yes I'd assumed that the clearance must have comprised some oak but the info came to me via a third party.

Had new ones in '79 and they just had black guard.
  22. Had three pairs of Haix and none have ever let in water.
  23. And why after editing pics do they still load sideways!
  24. Some clearance was done around a sheduled ancient monument about three years ago and evidently the stumps were treated with neat glyphosate. The dieback of this oak coincided with that. Can one assume that, from root grafts, the poison was translocated? The dead top was extremely brittle but the lower crown had responded with epicormic shoots and strangely shaped leaves. The 'town park' mentality suggested felling but working with the ranger service we opted to fracture prune. Only time will tell.
  25. That's one hell of a length. Surely it's not going to be an unsupported span? If it is supported then can't they splice/joint two shorter lengths?
