My dad came very close to having his hand amputated when he was about 65. Hedgelaying thorn that very nearly defied all the hospital's treatment. His hand started to turn gangrenous after six months unable to work. Then it miraculously started to heal.

Should I be ashamed? Last night I made a chicken curry but my lad was going out and said he'd have some when he got in. He got in at 3am so didn't bother. Well he's milking this afternoon so won't be back till 8ish. In the meantime the dog has decided he likes curry and has got his nose into the pan and eaten half of it. Now I'm going out but I always try to leave him a hot meal for when he comes in so instead of cooking something for one I've topped the curry up with a bit of braising steak and topped the sauce up. Stuck a chilli in there to disinfect it. Can I live with it:001_smile:
