  1. edit: to produce G25&35 chip from roundwood (not brash).
  2. Hello you lovely people, Not wanting something as productive as 300hp+ machines but chip quality is the prime issue. Any recommendations? Cheers:thumbup: PS I've heard good things about the Kesla C645...
  3. +1 I reckon that's the newer ones built with recycled steel. My old 700 is unbendable!
  4. That's a very fair way of doing things Not exactly; all timbers have different weights per m3... Will get the figures from the book. Back tommorow
  5. Amusing if that amuses you; got to #5 and called it a day, zzzzz Can't see why it would be banned tho? FF to #1. Lets see how many times MG is on TV in late summer 14 LOL
  6. There's no way the 9010 is lighter than a 461; I've got both and the Mak/Dol is an absolute tank. 9010 = 8.2kg / 6.8 hp 461 = 6.7kg / 6.0 hp. Did you mean the 7910? (7901 in blue)
  7. you can't measure rings without hours and hours and hours and.... of bother stack measure is the way... edit: or top diameter it all in say 2.2 or 3.7s and then ring it all up after noting the volumes.
  8. I've got a P7e; good trailer on flotations had 2 ton of wood in it it was fine Mate has got the above Bateson 720 - now that is a cracking bit of kit; for the money (prob not a lot between it and a p7e) it is bar far the best option - the twin axles buy a lot of safety margin.
  9. Stihl 036 if you can find one.
  10. D009 of that I'm sure... Same as Dolmar PS-9010. Oregon Product Selector Guide agrees...
  11. 18 degrees C here and like a summers day, beautiful. Are we going to pay for it when the schools break up in July though?!
  12. A T Osbourne do very tidy frames frames / guarding etc tho; another option not a million miles from e.
  13. Second that. Busy man but really helpful.
  14. +1 and as above. An artic load of timber. I think not.
  15. Mason Woodchippers A T Osbourne
  16. Interesting thread. Not surprised you have found that synthetic esters outperform standard veg since ester basestocks after poly-ol esters are the ultimate basestock for film strength, oxidation resistance, thermal stability, viscocity duration etc etc etc! Are you saying your synthetic ester is of veg origin?
  17. Should have mentioned ours is fitted to a 5 tonner and/or 6 wheel grab lorry. They do an 1100, 1300, 1500 and 1800 which is a skidding grapple so built like a tank.
  18. quite right We're trying to keep a trick up our sleeves. Sshhhh!
  19. We got the Uniforest 1300 from Riko. Can't fault it, smooth, strong and better price than the other ones they do which look mickey mouse by comparison.
  20. I like the SawJaw.
  21. Seasoned softwood is the mutts nuts. Now getting people with OPEN FIRES asking for it OVER HARDWOOD. Hallelujah!
