  1. Zetor draw bar today
  2. It too late for some frantic back peddling
  3. Thats one less trailer load of chip heading your way.
  4. I am running a cross cut and maintenance the week after next, and i think there is still one space. P.M me your number and i will let you know. I think that the felling unit is running in November
  5. What more could you want, trees timber and tractors. Movies of distinction.
  6. You only managed a minute, i managed 20 of Metsaman driving home. C minus, must try harder.
  7. Does look good value
  8. What are the differences between new and old ? I think that would have been better to explain in the video. I can not believe that your wife could be bored of watching milling videos
  9. Ere you go, you tube came up trumps: Mountain Men Season 4 Episode 01 Adapt or Die: http://youtu.be/1wTr6d8F7TI
  10. Japanese knotweed would do the job
  11. Alternative layers of logs built up with gaps between the logs to allow water through, and a good thick layer of branches on top. This copped with the Zetor and a fully loaded timber trailer many times. Quick to remove to
  12. You seem to love the willow at the power station.
  13. It is s good read, i have been meaning to try making the green walnuts in honey, but there are not many walnut tree here in west Wales.
  14. Alder all the way, unlike willow or poplar it has a market for firewood, like its toes wet, and grows straight and tall, and quickly
  15. I am not entirely sure why or how it works, you need Rob to explain. I have tried using low pro for the felling competitions but it does not seem to be any quicker, and the thinner bar is too flexible for precision and accurate cuts.
  16. Less chain friction, quicker cut (possibly)
  17. Then you will need something that is heavier duty. The aluminium temporary roadway that bolts together is good but expensive. If the RPA is having to deal with construction traffic of 30 tons then you are going to damage the RPA/ and or the canopy no matter what you do. I would either re-route the traffic, or fell the tree and replant.
  18. 6" of woodchip, with 3/4" ply over the top will cope with most traffic upto about 3 tons in weight
  19. And highly valueable
  20. Can i just point out that you are driving on the wrong side of the road
  21. Highly indeed, worth at least $10,000.
  22. That's the one. Technically its a TD, but i blew up that engine, and now it's got a 300tdi in it.
