  2. I am enjoying my 6100 felling alder and as. I like the slightly different back hande angle.
  3. Make you own up, it will probably work out cheaper , and it will suit your needs better. Half of the stuff on the oregon belt probably won't get used. The belt bags from AUS are very long lasting, good for wedges. http://www.aus.co.uk/acatalog/Harness_Bolt_Bags_And_Tool_Frogs.html

  11. The general opinion between me and a couple of my subbies, is there is no difference between the EXL and the LPX. We have been ringing up ash all morning with both in a blind test and none of us could tell the difference.

  15. If you have a chain that will fit either a 13" echo 450 or a 15" stihl 362 i will have one to try. It can have a good spanking in the woods next week and i will let you. know
  16. Have you got a complete throttle linkage and crappy plastic thingy that connects to the carb. For a 272xp
  17. Don't care, so long as it is sharp.
  18. Putting my cynics hat on, that looks like every other full chisel chain
  19. I had sort of come round to Turkey tail, because Tigers eye likes sandy heath, not expensive milled Cherry. Curse you pesky fungi for never conforming to what you are supposed to look like
  20. Turkey tail or Tigers eye?? Its growing out of some particularly fine milled cherry.
  21. J cut is used on over bar length wind blown trees with side tension. Only ever had to use it a couple of times, and neither time was a pleasant experience.
  22. There is a forestry workshop on the Thursday and Friday at 2pm
