  1. Lurking amongst one of my timber stacks. Still trying to work out what it is, so don't tell me yet David Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Does it count if Bob the dog cocks a leg on a low down fungi? Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Has one one used these ? Kania 2000 Trap | Collins Nets Ltd
  4. Which dead traps do people favour? Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Walking Oak trees Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Under lying root damage. The leaves have a good colour, so the tree is mostly happy. Sort out the roots, and the tree will be happy. One of the estates i manage has a pair of cherries with 'gumosis' (surely there has to be a better name than that David), which have been oozing for as long as i can remember, and they put on a good show every year. 7. There is some kind of gall on the leaf, and some form of leaf curl. If they are on all the leaves the trees stress levels will be high. Possibly a good starting point.
  8. Generally i come across summer branch drop atter the first rains after a period of no or little rain. I have no evidence to support this other than twenty years of observation. Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app

  11. Ooppps Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. PBI biolfuels have had issues mainly around incorrect planting distances, and the harvester not being able to fit between the rows. The only blocks i know of in our neck of the woods are around bluestone, which as yet i don't think has been harvested. Judging by the large pile that can be seen from the road, they are only processing small diameter softwood. Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Mid Norfolk tractors, or John charnley. I am yet to find something that either of these can not supply.
  14. Good ottery shots, Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. It will be water getting in somewhere causing corrosion on one the electrical connections. Start with all the earth connections-take apart and clean each one, and work back from there. Enjoy:thumbup:
  16. Try AUS, they supply earths and rods etc, as well kline spikes Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Bitternut, hickory, handkerchief, or similar.
  18. Every one climbs slightly differently, so everyone will have a different answer. I used to leave a branch stub every six feet or so. SRT is the best way of backing up as you can choke around the stem, however this will probably be outside the scope of your course. Cambium saver/ rope guide is probably going to be your best solution to start with.
  19. Have i found Ramaria flava? The dog kicked some and it turned purple Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. 750ml of Glyphosate plus 100 ml of mixture B per 15l of water
