  1. Can you not sell them to someone else ? After all its what you do Unless they are bespoke ie numbered or marked .

  4. Southern tree surgeons aka Bartletts as they are now known . Id say that,s kinda standard for them . I,m speaking from what I have seen and witnessed with my own eyes . Yes I know there,s good and bad in all but heck they always seem to break stuff ? Hope nobody was hurt . Odd how they are always needing new staff ???

My good lady used to send me off with a typical Scooby Doo Style Sarnie in the 90s ........Slice of bread n butter mayo cheese corned beef lettuce , tomato another slice of bread n butter with ham n cheese on top ....Topped off with a slice of bread n butter The good old days when my waist was 30 / 32 " and I weighed 10st 9lb ..... Nowadays I survive on black coffee and little carbs to help stop my waist line growing currently weighing a..... rotund 13st 4lb ......
  15. Echo pole hedge trimmer has or had a very flimsy power trigger . I broke mine within a month ? Moved on to Tanaka ... acquired from Charlies stores . I have had two in 10 years or so . Trust me i really abuse them .

  18. We did a similar thing a year or so ago . Although Birch was requested . Mind you it was a medieval wedding . So all we had to do was deliver 2" thick Birch disc's at 18" across x 20 . Just enough room to put a pitcher of ale on As it was a regular client we did this for free . Ended up with all the beer / lager that was leftover from the night time do . :thumbup1:
  19. Sorry but now you mentioned it I have seen some really poor quality tree work done by AA approved contractors at an over inflated price . Then on the other hand I have seen some beautiful sympathetic reductions done by the smaller tree firms at a vastly cheaper rate . Just saying I always find that when you win a job on price alone the customer still wants perfection

  21. I,m happy your a busy man . Although £50 an hour is expensive . Not having a go . Just seems way over the top
  22. Nice one Im still on the Co-codamol daytime routine and whisky at night The pain in my shoulders can actually make me cry . Then again there is always someone worse off ? So i crack on and suffer later. Oddly though if I have a few days off ......I seize up ? Seems you can't win I dread my yearly big hedge jobs . Love the job but just not the pain that follows .
