  15. I used to dive near beadnell when I was 12 yrs old . Bamburgh castle is situated in a stunning setting . I remember the old ford cortina crusader advert being staged on the very same sands .
  16. Fair play My first big connie job I under priced horrendously . It was a big learning curve for me . At least you started off with a decent price Now nearly 20 yrs on from my first big connie job . I still remember that awful under priced job . So now I always stick a bit more on those pesky jobs we love to hate . Although conifers are bread and butter work
  17. You never said how much you actually quoted back in the day ? If its any comfort I have robbed myself on numerous occasions when pricing for conifers Edit that just read £ 1800 you robbing git lol .
  18. 8kw suits the room size given . I can't comment on the clear view ?
  19. No worries matey Life its full of surprises some good and some bad . My friend of many a year decided to tackle his carpel tunnel syndrome by actually overloading his wrist's and forearms with the addition of power grips aka captain of crush .... Google them ; ) Any how his problems occurred whilst on the checkout at the local supermarket mid 80s / 90s .....non of this bleep bleep malarkey back then ? He is small man and very thin but now he has forearms quite over sized for his frame . Really we should call him popeye Its only in the last 2/3 yrs since working the grips has his pain subsided . Sounds odd even backward but he is happy now and best of all pain free .
  20. Steroid injections are all well and good as long as you stop doing what caused the problem in the first place ? For me Tree Work is a love hate relationship . My hands and finger tips are numb for most of the year .... But heck I get to do some crazy stuff and with the help of a few subbies I keep marching on . Its a life we choose and it has its downfalls ...... no pun intended . Hope all works out for you . Your not alone by any standards with regards the pain and numbness . Many and most on here have suffered the pain and many still do . Warm regards Paul Bell

  22. You also now have made an enemy who might just go at torch your site for revenge, chances are he and his friends will remember and want payback, as non law abiding citizens they might go even further then you. Trust me they know the score . Black and white . Crystal Clear . If anything I have now gained extra eyes to protect my yard Everyone plays at different levels . Break into my yard and your immediately playing in the premier . Now you will be treated as such . You will be on the bench a long time though . I work hard as most of us do on this excellent site . I will not let anyone take from me my friends or my family . Sound harsh well maybe Im just sick of all this goody twos shoes malarkey
  23. Wow ..... I have been so busy of late what with customers and plod pestering me . I have had no time to log in . I really appreciate the positive replys to this post . When push came to shove my diamond mate of many years did bash the would be thief . Now plod bless him has told my friend it was self defense . This copper is switched on and knows the naughty lads history . Extra security at the yard now in place . Fish hooks at eye level on 40lb braid . Dog shite mixed with old engine oil dabbed on the perimeter fenceline . Wildlife camera on order . On the flip side it was a mint night and the little **** actually pissed his pants fact .
  24. My Yard was broken into a few nights ago . Hey big deal it happens to everyone . Well I keep nothing of value at our yard other than our splitter . This is welded to an old unroad worthy two ton trailer . Anyway the scum left two sets of old youngman ladders along with 2 wheel barrows strategically placed next to the main entrance ? Obviously unprofessional scum . They also made it look like the gate was locked . Fortunately for me my landlord had noticed my gate was slightly open and notified me . Thinking the gits would return for the booty me and one other bedded down at the yard for a night of hope ........Oh and the lord did show me the light . Little Peugeot pulls up at 2am ish. One lad gets out then enters the yard all hell breaks loose . Get away driver disappears in a cloud of black diesel smoke . The numpty left behind ......... well considering the state of his face he must of fell over in all the confusion  Plod well they did laugh to . Its very dark at my yard . This is not a debate or discussion its a fact so any scum on the rob just think twice before robbing because my logs are Hardwood Some others on hear would not of even called plod . So think on scum
