  1. I'm pretty sure you can't get done for drinking and driving in one. Mmmmmm - any chance of making a tipper? Cracking looking mate. I love the smell of them as well!
  2. In an aviary as well.... Like it Tommer.
  3. A***-clenching stuff! Hope that juice was off....
  4. Reg ended up chucking wafer thin discs on that Ash. There's always a point when further lowering becomes impossible. We blocked down the last 15' of a big Horse Chesnut once from a tower scaffold (cut everything into cubes of about a foot). Time consuming, and man, the sawdust! A scaffold co. would do it, but you might have some awkward working heights between lifts. Good luck.
  5. Class. The best way of getting rid of kids playing football near you is insisting on joining in. They soon f*** off.
  6. Heal soon Joe. Chicks dig scars. And you can have a few beers now to take the edge off.....
  7. Elsdon mate, near Otterburn. Used to go to school in Pont. It is a cracking place, but I came down south to make my fortune. It didn't work!
  8. You wouldn't need to mate. Just fire a load of rockets at the West column.
  9. Takes me all night to do what I used to be able to do all night....
  10. Things may differ slightly regionally, but I reckon you are paying the average, Martyn. Reckon you're wrong about the PL though Macca.
  11. Nice work Rupe. That looked like a horrible skinny pole to end up on!
  12. Ha ha. That's 'Darras Palace' on Darras Road. I used to think it was dead classy when I was at school!
  13. Big Chessie. How tall? Sorry I couldn't make it, but I wasn't getting drenched twice in a day. Fair weather climber, me.
  14. Saving up for my house in Darras Hall mate!
  15. I think in all honesty you have to treat a 'performance' phone with a bit more care. If you just want to make calls, better stick to a rugged old brute that can take the knocks. That said, I climb with my iphone, perfect sized pocket in Stretch Airs, wrapped in a dog-s*** bag if its really wet!
  16. Needs a crown raise, luv. £600 alright?
  17. Same, of course. Now that WOULD be discrimination!
  18. Noone should work for less than minimum wage, doesn't matter where they come from. There are plenty of jobs around offering minimum wage, but most of them aren't as 'glamorous' as arb. Dragging all week for £80 or flipping burgers in the warm surrounded by teenage girls? Hmmmm, let me think for a minute... BTW, if he's an illegal, him, I hope he chips himself.
  19. Massive Iphone convert here. Always thought it was a poncey poseurs phone, but with the screenguard on and a decent cover its excellent. Great camera and vids as well. I eventually sussed out that so many people are getting them because they are so damn good. Also some really useful apps, Dean you can even download a spirit level app for checking hinges!
  20. I was p***-soaked through and freezing after tipping off at the yard this morning, so decided to stay at home instead. I think I read somewhere that recreational climbing is meant to be fun....
  21. Presumably noone is holding a gun to this blokes head?
  22. No need mate. Old truck, big ladder, cheap saw, hey presto! You are a 'tree surgeon'. You can even say you're fully qualified and insured if you want! Seriously, this site is a great place to start. Watch some vids, look at some pics, read some posts. Local college (Sparsholt?) would be next step. Good luck with it.
  23. Matty, where's that line from at the bottom of your posts? Or is it just generally describing tree work in your area?!
