How can I rag the arse out of most of my saws every day using supermarket petrol and Stihls cheapo one shots and average 10 years out of them? I'm just curious how the fuel snobs see it? I want to cut timber, not fly to the moon.

Where are you mate? I'm in Hamstreet, and the bluebells are amazing in the local woods in the spring. Been dark o'clock when I've finished recently, so I've missed a couple of weeks up there, but will have a nosy over Christmas. Been crazy warm, first time we've done the last day in t-shirts! Blowing hard at night, like.

Baffled me as well Mick, makes perfect sense now. I've had a 25" on the 660 for a long time, been ages since I had to get the 36" out of the workshop. That said, we aren't really set up to do big trees, but how often do they come along anyway?

I live in the country. We have virtually no gun crime, even though we all have guns. Perhaps they should build more fields and woods in towns?

I meant I doubt anyone could beat that setup, then I remembered this isn't a big dick contest! I've shot since I was 9 on air rifles, then the usual progression through shotguns, .22's etc. I was obsessed with ballistics as a kid, and something I'll get back into one day. Working Dutchie will do me for now. If you get any 1200yrd retrieves give me a buzz!
