  1. Definitely Wes. I owe Reg more than a few pints. I’ve often watched one of his vids the night before a monster takedown I’ve been dreading and you get to the job and it’s 50 foot baby piss.
  2. Big top that Don. Even bigger thumb!
  3. Policeman’s dads look younger than you.
  4. To alter the shape of a tree with a linear crown reduction could be £600. To alter the morphology of a tree with the same linear crown reduction would be £1500. Does that sound about right Gary?
  5. Topping a multi-stemmed holm oak today. There is no other word for it, but for a very aware customer. Home in time for the hard part of the day.
  6. A lot will depend on the road, and the steepness of the hill. Can you get some pics?
  7. That’s a scandalous accusation Git. 2-up in the cab + dog and tools and I’ve still got a whopping 650kg to play with. I reckon I’m good for a couple of cube of wet chip.
  8. Oh the memories! Filth was so much easier before triple anal.
  9. Good news for Arbtalk. Should get loads of new members. They’ll probably be a load of wankers, mind.
  10. It’s certainly easier to stick more closely to spec with linear distances. As Steve pointed out though, someone should tell the trees!
  11. Looks good from my house. Just shows how open to misinterpretation %'s can be. Or maybe they just didn't care.
  12. Just remember to go outside now and then Steve. You only stopped climbing a few weeks ago.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
