  1. does it really matter? does it make you feel less wanted? from a "senior member" ?
  2. Trailer adverts always make me laugh! Tows nicely = all the wheels turn Brakes need adjusted = brakes are goosed and need new ones! Bed seen better bays but usable= bed completely rotten but stand on the cross members and it’s sound !
  3. BBW = ugly fat fucker! am I on the wrong lines here?
  4. Yeah I can understand that, most 200t still original will mostly be knackered by now and I bet used saws can be a minefield if problems! Have you ported many Echo saws and if so how do they respond?
  5. Plenty of people using Arb pro inc me, great bit of software imo
  6. You got any 200 t refurbished fir sale spud?
  7. I had a look Andrew and to be honest I’m not overly impressed, just doesn’t look right and my track history with dolmar isn’t great as you know, no body wants to use it now in fear of it blowing up again!
  8. I would go echo, we run 201t and husky, I like the husky for power but prefer Echo due to the lack of electronic carbs !
  9. I’m with skyhuck here plus 1) that was a long drop to the block and a fair bit of loading on the kit and 2) it’s ok getting it down but there is a limit to what the ground crew can handle, could of cut a chucked that at a steady pace and kept all nicely chugging a long but each to there own!
  10. Remote with the 3 pot diesel Kubota Good machine but v top heavy, you have to be careful on slopes with out the duel wheels

    Well done Echo!

The back handles are great saws, far better and more reliable than modern stihl and husky Top handle saws are good and no worse than the modern competitors saws!

    Well done Echo!

I with you on that Graham, I have had more problems with modern stihl and husky saws since the auto tune crap than anything else, echo is like stihl and husky were 15 yrs ago!

    Well done Echo!

Good move mick, we only use aspen and nobody moans about headaches or stinks of fumes now!
  14. Not used the 252 for a good few years but I v much doubt they go to 18” below ground level, correct me if I’m wrong. We have 4012 diesel and the specs are in the name! 40” sweep and 12” depth , had no issues in the 6 yrs I have had it going to that depth, if I was changing it would be a bandit zt or a bandit 2550 , possible a pred 38 or 50 . Just checked it out , the 252 is officially quoted as 13” below ground so on par with most other machines of that size.
  15. So glad I have packed logs in, for all the reasons you stated and the fact there’s fook all money in it!

    Well done Echo!

Fettling? In what way mate? We have 2 and had no problem at all, they need a tune when run in but it’s a simple job with the right tool.
  17. Going forward why not give arb pro a try? I have used it fir over a year now and won’t be with out it, it’s saved me a boat load of hassle and covers everything you will ever need from an online system all for 50 quid a month!
  18. One reason I don’t do or certainly try to avoid emergency work and I only ever do written quotes with email confirmation, you can send from site off a smart phone , saves so much hassle!

    Well done Echo!

2511 t is in a league of its own, superb little machine. The 360t isn’t the giant leap the 2511 is but I reckon it’s as good as the competition, I will be buying more Echo in 2019 that’s for sure!
  20. Totally agree Khriss, the AA does do some good work and yes I'm a member, I just think the AAAc is a bit "plastic" its there for its contractors to supposedly stick by but when its a major sponsor eyes get closed while the shit blows over! I wish the AA would sell the scheme more to the outside world rather than selling it to tree surgeons who then have to try and sell it the public.
  21. I totally aggree, I did raise that point with Paul Smith but like I thought it would it got swept under the carpet, not by Paul but by the AA, it pretty much means being AAAc is really an office thing and means v little from out side the industry.

    Well done Echo!

Were running a fair bit of Echo kit, pole saw, ground saws and top handles and when other kit packs in like hedge cutters they will be swapped for Echo, its a bit old skool but that's good, yeah people moan that's its a bit heavy but its a bit heavy for a reason !
