  1. Yes dear?
  2. Well its in your interest and its ultimately your responsibility. You could set your self up only to find that you have to change plans pay fines, incur other costs like moving and so on You can ask the question without going into detail
  3. So now you have been off on your tangent in an effort not to address the original issue I will remind you if the original issue But as usual you aren't good at answering direct criticism preferring instead to dig yourself a hole.

  5. And of course you have data to support your claims , not just the isolated here say of people " working in healthcare" ( pushing a mop in a hospital doesn't count)' There are plenty of healthcare tourists going out of the UK but afaik, a lot are going to Eastern Europe for elective cosmetics rather than to the states for life saving You clearly disagree with how we do things but that's OK, we have our own opinionated minority but we are a democratic state so you can have your say, just don't be surprised when no one is in your corner
  6. Gawd, its like talking to a closed door, its pretty thick and you often simply don't get an answer. I think I am correct in saying your sum total experience of the UK is a couple of stints manning a trade stand and whatever twisted perspective you have gleaned from your media yet you feel qualified to lecture on the UK health and welfare system. Thank you for your opinions, I will weight them accordingly. FYI the treatment was high quality, prompt and efficient delivered by quality staff.
  7. Except it does, my government arranged for me to have reconstructive spinal surgery a decade ago and at the moment are on with fixing a heart attack and a stroke.
  8. Assumption, gross generalisation and above all just plain wrong I have spent a good chunk if my life traveling the world, I even spent some time in your native land
  9. I don't know where to go with this, I have told you, others have told you, get a dictionary and look up irony or get someone to explain it to you. Personally I think you understand the statement but don't have a answer and that's because you just don't understand what you are talking abut
  10. He knows that, please god, he knows that and was just filling the space because he didn't have an answer.
  11. Now there is a typical American rant from someone who simply doesn't understand the system What you call compensation and free cash are insurance policies. I have spent decades paying my dues to these insurances on the understanding that should such need arise the powers that be will pitch in. Recently I have had a lot of help from the NHS who administer my health care on behalf of the government. I have ongoing care from a stroke specialist, a consultant cardiologist, a consultant ophthalmologist, a cardio nurse, and a physio. When I came out of hospital in Feb, I had an assisted discharge team including physio, speech and language therapists, district nurse and an enablement team to modify my home, all on 1 to 1 home visits. None of this is any sort of unemployment compensation or free money, its the benefits of paying into an insurance for more than 3 decades. The upshot of all this is that I can look forward to getting back to work as soon as the doc's let me. If the UK is as you describe then all of the USA is a scene from Breaking Bad, I saw your country on the TV like you saw mine so it must be so.
  12. If you do DIY repair it, keep it quiet, everything up to the little box on the wall belongs to the provider. I have been caught taking lines down and fixing them before now, openleach get a bit upset if they catch you
  13. Ahh the eternal Yorkshireman raises his head Like is said before Dibond is expensive but that's the brand leader, I bought mine from Amari plastics (amaribond) and it was a fraction of the price
  14. Yes...
  15. You can buy a sheet product called Aluminum Composite Panel. Its main trading name is dibond but other makes are available. Its a plastic sheet with a paper thin ally sheet each side. It's feather light, neat and tidy and takes signwriting perfectly. Its light enough and can be cut easily with hand or power tools
  16. Its a schliesing, its probably been round the clock and started again

I have several facom ratchets in various sizes and length from 1/4 to 1" outside the drive size and length they have common parts with the exception of the 3/8 drive one that you can operate by rotating the handle They are dependable and if you do kill one they will fix or replace it for free Another point about facom is that they sell tools where snap on out their name to anything at all

You pay for it but do you pay too much? I have a BOC mig welder made by cebora, you can buy the exact machine with a snap in badge for three times the price. OK so it has a good warranty but three times the price??? Its entirely personal but Facom gets my vote for the best balance of quality and price
  20. Most of those places will already have cleaning kit of there own. Small pressure washers are cheap as chips and well up to the job, I used a 99 quid Karcher for 3 years before it croaked Domestic customers might want wheelie bins doing but its a cold wet nasty way to earn a crust
  21. Ha ha, sense of humor transplant needed Its was clearly an auto correct thing. I do apologise to your sensibilities and will think twice in future before offering help in future
  22. Why an I grateful??
  23. If I understand what you are trying to say it sounds like the JACKET and the CORE need equalising. Cut the heat sealed end of the rope then run a loaded prussic down the length of the rope (couple of times if needed) This is called MILKING the rope, it will allow the jacket to slide relative to the core, you should find the jacket ends a bit longer than the core. Re seal the rope end and all is good.
  24. If I had a client willing to pay for it then yes but I would be honour bound to provide a client with a realistic appraisal of the tree. From the little I know of this situation its not something I would be recommending to a client. Better species in a more sustainable location might get a thumbs up.
