  1. Those little entec machines punch well above their weight
  2. A bit of shrink tube will sort that
  3. Used "BDH" containers before now, watertight, strong and cheap
  4. As the timber dries, water loss leads to volumetric changes which causes internal stresses to build up, which is what leads to the splits. Just call it "character" and crack on (no pun intended)

    Subsidence

    This Anything else is speculation
  6. You can reverse (most) pumps by simply swapping the body round
  7. That was the impression I had. If it is the discharge side of things then the important factor will be that no one can come into contact with moving parts. If the discharge is in a "stowed" position the start circuit and "run engine" would need to be disabled with an interlock system.
  8. Well most of that is completely inaccurate and you haven't even touched on the pertinent parts The main issue with modifying the machine is going to be one of PUWER, if its your machine you do it at your risk, if you have staff its a different situation all together In essence a folding in feed isn't an issue (there are many machines out there with fold out configuration) but the issue is going to be getting it signed off as fit for purpose
  9. That's workable, can we draw a line somewhere in the midlands, I will gladly ceed Birmingham to you:laugh1:
  10. I think you will find that's my job, so unless you are mounting a coup you had better watch it.:laugh1:
  11. I think the solicitors advice would be, bring me more than 50 quid:laugh1:
  12. What opportunity has the knob taken? Why should he park somewhere else? Can the tree owner park there? sounds like its someone else's garden to me On a practical note, if the tree owner makes regular applications for such works that would remedy the situation they will either be allowed or declined. If declined the tree owner can demonstrate that they were effectively interdicted
  13. The point with side attachment points is that they aren't rated in the event off a fall in the same way that a main attachment point is. This doesn't mean the side "dee" rings would fail but it has a better chance of leaving you singing soprano
  14. If what you are doing is "incredibly dangerous" you need to take a look at what you are doing
  15. "No Mr Bond, I expect you to die"
  16. You are probably going to need to come to the UK to complete UK standard chainsaw competences, most employers will require some form of proof of competence in place. If you are going to rely on US qualifications be ready to provide employers with evidence of what level the award transfers at but the simple fact is that the UK likes UK standards so you will probably have some training and assessment costs Don't forget you will also need a work visa
  17. It would be way better if the laser cut the log as well
  18. You crack me up. I would work for you for £80 just for the entertainment value:laugh1::laugh1:
  19. Liking that stealth look
  20. Where??? some places you will need a VISA Do you think your experience will be up to the job considering you may be a long way from home and a convenient bale out.
  21. The tail needs securing and you need some DAZ for those socks.
  22. HA HA See me win that one, now I get to travel the country to fell dome rubbish timber and pay for the pleasure ,,,,,,,,No wait.......:laugh1:
  23. You aren't going to rob that quality timber out from under me. I bid £2055 and I will raise you "put poison on the stumps":laugh1:
  24. It may well have fallen off before you made the last payment:lol:
  25. But I don't want one, at any price
