  1. I know of a few farmers that have been bent over and "introduced" to the concept by the powers that be:laugh1:
  2. It certainly sounds like air in the system "This machine needs to be idiot proof because various people use it". Hmmmm, ever heard of PUWER?
  3. Groan,,,Not again please
  4. Because binning it in one isn't nearly as macho as demonstrating your climbing ability
  5. Its irrelevant what its classed as, its what its used for that's going to be the issue.
  6. I would like to see that grapple to
  7. I am going to guess its because that's how it comes into the UK, many "EU" trailers are speed restricted.
  8. Cant help with the transport problem except to point out to the residents, the blindingly obvious point that smaller vehicles means more movements, pollution etc.
  9. Errrrr It stops the Barber chair happening (Barbour chair would be some sort of country sports felling)
  10. Or this one from this morning http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/tree-health-care/98260-doesnt-look-good-ash-tree.html
  11. Well first off I would be sorting it out with him and not broadcasting it on the internet for all and sundry (him included) to read Secondly I would handle it by not borrowing kit Are you sure it is bent and not cutting badly because of the sharpening? Have you had a look at the bent bar?
  12. What's the MAM and towing weight ???

    Bow Saw

Pull cuts aren't half as nice again, they are an infinitely superior tool. A 21" inch bow saw is what we used before those nice Japanese fellows hammered all the old Katana's into saws

    Bow Saw

No not at all Get a pull cut like a "Silky"
  18. That's a lump of Pop alright Its not the best firewood but if you are felling it anyway or its all you have,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
  19. Get on youtube, there is a heap of stuff on there.
  20. Out of interest, why the additive?
  21. Well changing the oil wont do it any harm so 5l of new oil and a filter and you will know how much it takes Failing that its a Kubota engine and the volumes must ne somewhere on the internet, its what the net is for
  22. Its only a small engine, cant you just buy a 5l tub and keep any spare for topping up?
  23. Things like PUWER and CE are putting an end to DIY builds, unless you are willing to "wing it" a bit Rotavators are low speed high torque things and a grinder will need a much faster cutter wheel. Adapting an existing machine can be more work than a scratch build and you are probably going to need both engines to power it or proprietary machines are going to laugh and kick sand on your machines face:laugh1:
  24. VAT (MWST) plus postage so 19% on top of list and if you pay by CC, whatever the CC outfit decides the exchange rate is. But all that fades because its new and its shiny:thumbup1:
