2. HI I'm fairly new to climbing, was taught drt with prusik hitches I'm looking at trying the hitch climber and was wondering how you advance up the tree, with the way i was taught you anchor yourself with one end of the rope to the tree and throw the other end around the next limb above you and so on. but i can't see how you can do this with a hitch climber . hope this makes sense. paul
 3. Hi Daniel Would be great to meet and go out one Saturday. I only have the basic climbing kit. Due to my work i am not available all Saturdays but if you give me your telephone number maybe I can ring to maybe arrange a climb. Happy for you to PM me your number. thanks Paul
 4. Hi I have recently passed my NPTC climbing aerial rescue ticket and was wanting to get some more experience. Would anyone happen to know of where I could go to do this or does anyone do any recreational climbing and wouldn't mind a climbing buddy at times. I live in the Newton Abbot area , but would be willing to travel some distances. Any information would be helpful Many thanks Paul

Hi Paul

You can get really good training at East Malling Short Courses in Kent, call 01732 523755. Of course that's if you are local. They do NPTC and/or LANTRA and have a 100% pass rate in the last 2 years

good luck !
