  1. Why would heave be a problem? Its a situation that exists when a house is built on a desiccated clay soil with a high shrink ability index. The fact that you "think" you are on a clay soil only indicates that you need to establish facts. find out what the soil is and take it from there.

  14. At the risk of repeating myself the geometry on double cab tippers is piss poor for load carrying. All the weight is over or beyond the back axle, it's easy to be under weight on the entire vehicle but have a significant axle over load. The gree hills is a perfect illustration of this.

  22. Well what you believe....... It is however a statement of fact that before the advent of the internet we used to go to a dealer, sit down drink his tea chat, buy what we needed and leave. That's not nonsense its just how it was and for many how it will be.
  23. Are you sure Penny didn't jump ship from Richmonds before the internet? Age is relative
  24. It may be in the deeds but many are "silent" "T" marks don't denote responsibility to maintain a boundary structure and it may not even be on the land that the "T" marks refer to.
  25. It belongs to whoever owns the land it is on, this idea that you can tell by looking at the fence is nonsense. Some deeds will have "T" marks denoting responsibility for a boundary however "T" marks don't convey any responsibility to maintain a structure. Some deeds do contain covenants to enforce the construction and maintenance of boundary features but they are the exception rather than the rule and can be difficult to enforce. In a nutshell the fence belongs to whoever built it (or the person that bought the property from them) as long as they built it on their own land, if they didn't they have gifted it to the person that owns the land.
