  1. Da sind sie ja auch auslander, oder?
  2. Quite so and if we weren't the consumers of trash they wouldn't make it Caveat emptor
  3. Fixed that for you:thumbup1:
  4. Are they worn out? I have the same Bashlin alloys for over 20 years, granted they have seen a few sets of pads and gaffs.
  5. LMAO:laugh1::laugh1::laugh1: But you cant say that to a tree surgeon...........
  6. If the PR valve were open (unlikely, see below) the body would hardly move and if it had a bit of dross under it as they sometimes do, the body would lift but the ram would start to drop as soon as the motor stopped. Titing about with a PR valve is a bad idea particularly on an older system where the flexi hose may not be the newest. If the flexi bursts the body will come down at speed. Most PR valves on tippers are cartridge type with pre set springs and not adjustable for this very reason.
  7. The seal on the input shaft is often an "O" ring. replacing it required dismantling the entire pump. Can you put some pictures up
  8. Has it got enough oil on the tank?
  9. Get your wheels here, good ones with high ply tyres and bearings AUT Wheels and Castors in the UK
  10. Air sanders are greedy things, one of those baby compressors will be flogging its guts out and failing miserably
  11. If you want quiet the only option is hydrovane
  12. Just to clear the terminology A pollard is a much greater measure than a reduction. Its generally a removal of all branch material back to the main stem. Since protected trees are involved you might want to consider some professional input on site. An arboricultural consultant would be able to advise you and if needed (sounds like it is) a report to BS 5837 (trees in relation to construction) to be submitted as support to your planning application.
  13. So maybe something along the lines of an equipment register? A place where you can check serial numbers of kit against a stolen database? Home - The National Plant & Equipment Register
  14. Before you do that make sure your client is OK with you sharing that information. If you "dob your client in" intentionally or not, they might get upset and may well want to recover any losses from you.
  15. Yes that's right, and someone, I think it was you but it matters not, said something along the lines of "I use it because the price difference isn't that much and its better for engines", all I did was point out that the difference is DOUBLE or worse and ask for some evidence that its better. I have used alkylate fuel in other parts of the world and I am aware of the benefits. I am looking for a reason to use it in the UK but at the moment the problems far outweigh the benefits. As for the bench thread, that's a well populated place and doesn't need any help at the moment.
  16. As others have said. Aside from road risks the only insurance you must have by law is ELCI Employers Liability Compulsory Insurance. In the unlikely event that you don't have employees or anyone that helps you (paid or not) you don't need ELCI
  17. You can go to landrover if you like or you can just alter the one you have, or get a cheapo off ebay
  18. I didn't say that, they wont deliver and collecting is out of the question
  19. Yes it can, fill in the appropriate part of the V5 post it to Swansea and wait, simples
  20. What's the body got to do with the revenue weight? As its under 3500kg is doesn't have a plate as such, its revenue weight is declared on the log book
  21. Is that what it is? and the fact that most of us cant get hold of it wont have anything to do with it?
  22. Pump plus oil runs out at eight quid and is available everywhere This is £17.60 and my nearest is over an hour away. Aspen two stroke fuel 5ltr | lubricants-&-fuel | aspen-fuel | Gustharts
  23. You are paying too much for our oils and you don't get vat back you offset it (IF you are vat registered) and there is only more vat because you are spending more money So it is still double.
  24. Saying its a little dearer when its actually at least double
  25. Amazing, and how exactly does this fantasy creature of yours cause decay?
