1. That pump tank unit just isn't suitable for your job, its for intermittent use applications such as tail lifts or small tippers. If you use it in anger it will die in short order
2. If I spent 14k on a machine I would expect not to have to worry about the belts. But its not a belt, its usually 2 or three and it depends on how often they are failing, how many times they fail on a job and leave you looking like a plonker on front of the client, how many times you have to spend time changing them or waiting for a mechanic.
3. If you don't tell the purchaser that the belts need checking and make sure they have the opportunity to rectify the problem it will remain the manufacturers problem.

Oh YES!!

What a piece of filth, it looks like the contents of a scrap heap kicked into a pile and welded where it touches. The front suspension and steering gear aren't up to the weight of that engine and if you are wanting monster truck you MUST have a V8.
5. I don't want to put a downer on your inspiration but there are plenty of people out there who are quite happy with the "steady away" and who are we to judge them for not reaching what you think is inspirational. They are the everyday that make inspirational stand out. Be happy about that. They need no excuse for what they do or don't do, they are what they are.
6. On appearance alone that's a huge improvement When and how much?
7. Nice post but I don't understand the title, what do I need an excuse for?
8. Its a "sticky up" but on the top of the tank That's a good idea:laugh1:
9.
I think we can do it for a bit less than that

10. How is the tank breather? When the tank vacuums is causes fuel starvation
11. When I had my 390 ported the man could tell it was run on Stihl oil because of the carbon deposits. On his advice I run them all on Husky oil now.
12. What he said
13. See the adverts on here
14. The code of practice is about the use and the HSE have some teeth in that, this is about the sale and they are all about voluntary in that Stihl and husky signed up to the agreement and it is they who would reprimand the dealer for selling off the book, if the other brands weren't around to sign up there is no sanction available against him unless the HSE get them to get on board.
15. Or is he? The agreement was between the existing players at the time and the HSE. If the new boy wasn't party to that, he isn't bound by it. From the sound of it these rumblings are from the EU and as such will have nothing to do with the UK HSE agreement.
16. Fixed that for ya:laugh1:
17. I think you underestimate the supply of Darwin candidates, there is one born every minute:laugh1:
18. The second hand market drives a coach and horses through that. You can have your pick on ebay.
19. You don't NEED any unless you have someone helping you, in which case you need Employers Liability Compulsory Insurance (ELCI) What SHOULD you have? well public liability would be a good idea because if you get it wrong you could end up selling the house to cover the damage.
20. The only exercise for climbing is climbing Cardio will help but what you need is the specific muscles toning and a lot of technique that only come from climbing.
21. Definitely not
22. If you are using hardware on the end of a rigging line putting a half hitch above it will make life easier on the hardware
23. The requirements for the centre are the same for all trucks and classes of licence It needs to be suitable, i.e. you need to be able to drive in turn and drive out (no reversing out) It needs to be somewhere where the neighbours or planning wont object so your driveway is probably out It needs to be big enough for the number of vehicles and trailers
24. Your vid is private The danger with this is getting the biner wrongly loaded causing damage Just get quicker with your knots
