  1. But the housing office isn't the planning office
  2. Here you go David, this is the opposite side to the nest hole which is about a foot or so above the top of this rip out And this is a particularly good example go how not to prune unless you are making habitat
  3. There is a way around the Stihl online sales restriction. Its called Husqvarna.
  4. Opinel utility knife. Just pick the size you like
  5. Have you tried Equicar Equicar 4x4 - 4x4 dismantlers, 4x4 parts - latest updates
  6. To be honest, not checking a spot like that would have been reckless, I have looked into countless dark dirty water filled cavities but fluffy owl chicks is the nicest find yet. Nice to abandon a job for something that's not a pigeon.
  7. Ahhhhhh, sweet, well I can't say, they certainly didn't look like they wanted to be licked.
  8. The nest was open to the elements. It's a branch wound that's rotted in and on the other side of the tree there is a large ripped out branch with some twigs stuffed in it. The defects are joined and I suspect any water that runs into the nest must drain through the bottom to the other side. I am back there tomorrow so I can get some more shots from the ground if you like
  9. IPhone mate
  10. Ummm I was only there a moment but the one that's eyeballing the camera was making clicking and hissing noises, the others seemed to be asleep. I am going to the pet shop for a couple of mice to make up for waking them:laugh1:
  11. So there I am about to give the knackered tree the big saw treatment and who should turn out to be in residence Guess I will have to come back in a few weeks. The nest site is staying but it has to have the top off for safety
  12. With type 2 you should be OK. A major part of managing type 2 is diet and sensible eating. Type 1 is a different story, if you are dependant on self administered insulin you don't want to be in a situation where you might not have immediate access to it. If you are self employed then that's your choice but given the proliferation of ambulance chasers an employer would need to look carefully at how they managed the situation.
  13. You don't mean that, trust me, you really don't mean that
  14. Never had a problem with Saturn blades but I did once have a set from a main dealer fail at first contact with a bit of wood.
  15. Increase the angle on the drawbar to stop it nipping at your heels
  16. I gave this problem some thought a while back and the only way to make it work was to make the axles moveable so that when you were empty you could move the axles forward, and back when loaded. Its going to cost you some payload but it will make towing it legal and far more comfortable.
  17. Well I am not so sure about that. I will defend the developers rights to do as he wishes with his land but the developer will maximise the return on the land by packing as many units on there as planning will allow. The gardens probably wont be anything like big enough to compensate the environment for the loss of mature trees. Its a sad fact that the environment has to take second place to houses but there it is.
  18. It does. It comes under actions likely to destroy
  19. Firewood Fell it before that nasty fungus wrecks more of the nice firewood:laugh1:
  20. If they say 50m, charge like 50m
  21. That is a poor design
  22. Couldn't agree more, allow the client to make an informed choice. Most of them do listen, then do what they thought was right in the first place:001_rolleyes:
  23. Trolling?
  24. You might not think that but putting a picture on the net and saying hey up lads what do you think of this, is ripping into someone elses work. Do you know first hand what was said, what the spec was? If you don't its all just hear say, gossip and rumour. You could have asked the question without the picture
