  2. I'm presuming it should be programmable to work off any type?
  3. I think that should work. Guess it will come down to that all important price!
  4. Cheers, wow they must be popular. If it's the same one that's fitted to the 1390 im sure i can make it fit
  5. It's the reason for a lot of bigger saw cooking pistons IMHO. Anything over two weeks is pushing it. 7 quid to refuel the combi can, or 700 to repair an 88.....
  6. Finally getting round to sorting out the stress control on my chipper. Its a bc1000 so I guess the first question is anyone got one lying about? Second and more likely where in the uk can I get an intelli-feed or other such similar control off he shelf with display etc in it Thanks R
  7. Well my dissertation is due in this week, which should free up some time so if I can bring myself to I'll get some pictures up and get it up on arbtrader :-(
  8. I've not actually accepted that's its got to go yet. It's been sat parked up in the yard for far to long, and realistically it's never going to get used again as it doesn't fit in with my current business model :-(
  9. You ought to just buy this off me.....
  10. Sounds like you keep a close eye on him or get another employee!
  11. SOrry only just seen this you should have pm'd me we could have taken it
  12. 50Drive links is a standard 14 inch stihl bar, how are you measuring the bar?
  13. Rewards are out unless under 31.1214 miles away from base :-(
  14. I might take the missus to the shops in my ag reg 7.5t hiab wagon..... Oh scrub that I'm to ugly to have a missus
  15. In fairness the answers are there if you look, I just hadn't looked enough, would be helpful if they harmonised all the rules though!
  16. Well I've learned something today! Which is what these forums are for
  17. Providing it's not actually for hire and reward which the op doesn't specify
  18. Sorry I am actually wrong by the looks of it. The above info is still correct though about not needing ol for the above use, it's only if it's hire or reward you need one
  19. Yep so GVW is 3.5t, GTW or GCW is 7.0t. Hence rules apply to 3.5t gross vehicle weight, No operators licence or cpc apply but tacho does as GCW is over 3.5t
  20. Operators licence irrelevant for 3.5t gvw only needed when above this. Tacho not required within 50km if you meet the listed exemptions, which most tree workers will do
  21. It's hard work. I'm just about to finish (well this summer) a four year mechanical engineering degree. Both work and the degree have suffered, not to mention the social life! I'll let you know in a couple of years if it was worth it!
  22. It would have been done by now.......
