  4. probably working but i can meet you in the Botanist afterwards..(the Pub next to Kew)...no way you can come and visit next weekend?...i,ll spend the day round kew gardens with you? Get some great photos...think about it. I can show you MY Kew!

  5. if you get the 2.1 (which i would recommend) you,ll need a couple of krabs and a skinny rope....and maybe a pulley saver if you,re feeling rich...i,ll leave the cost to Gustharts...(worth every penny!)
  6. Evening Bob!..was interested to see you are based on Mull...i spent a few holidays there as a kid....around Brodick bay i think....cycled round the island a few times...lovely place....saw some massive jellyfish!...much tree work there?

  14. Yeah that winch looks VERY handy.. so smooth how the tree comes over, and great use of wedges.
  15. Remember to get the "Cool" labelled stretch airs as they have the zips at the back...and no rear kevlar...makes all the difference.
  16. i wear "Stretch Air Gladiator cool"...they have ballistic material on the front and zippers on the rear over the back of the leg....the highest temperature i,ve worked in over so far this year was 28 degrees...they have removable gators and with the zips open i was quite comfortable...thery are the most comfortable chainsaw trousers i,ve worn..had about six pairs of hi flex (Never again) too hot and wear out quickly..Pfanner stretch airs are super strong great to climb/work in and the vents cool you down as you move...Highest quality Austrian Kit Bro!
  17. They are a Great British Band..saw them years ago when the were supporting Moby...they had just released "Charlie Says"......
  18. i had to hold the log which had no shape to it whatsoever between my feet for most of the time to keep it steady as i de-barked it and carved its,s shape...by the end my feet were covered in scars where the chisel slipped countless times!...i called it the trees revenge!..but it was worth it. the chisel was a rusty old thing which had a slight curve to it which helped when scooping out the triangle shape which is meant to represent the crown of taxus.
  19. Ha ha ...it can get very dramatic up on the pennines during a storm but i like Drama! especially in Nature!
