  1. I got a free ice cream with mine! (Not really:001_tt2:)....managed to eat it before it melted a ran down my shiny new t shirt...Thanks Steve.
  2. It is such an atmosphric vid...the mist all around him...the loneliness of this one man chogging out those enormous rings...i even like his anchor point on what seems like such a skinny leader in comparisson with the huge tall trunk he,s working on..the grit at which he systematically ploughs into his task is inspiring....and he is no spring chicken...a testament to the wealth of experience this man has in the Art of tree removal....LEGEND!!!!!
  3. 6 months is way to little exprience to take on the roll of lead climber. The last thing you want is to be hurried into making a critical mistake. It,s a very dangerous occupation even for those of us with more experience. You may need to rethink your position within the team and have a word with the boss. see if it possible to be 2 climber apprentice or maybe juggle between grounding for a while a do the occasional small to medium tree, gradually working up as you start to feel more comfotable and gain confidence..i,m only thinking of your safety mate...i respect your honesty. Better SAFE,than SORRY.
  4. Nice skills and a nice view...you,re doing a great job promoting Pole spiking Ian...keep up the good work....see ya soon Mate.
  5. Now that is imaginative!..i like it. it,s a tree scarf...

  7. Let us know how you get on young sapling!
  8. I must have seen this video at least 30 times since it first hit you tube...it,s simply BREATHTAKING!!!..Nice soundtrack aswell.

  10. Skyhuck,s said the most important one already,"Be on time"...if you can, before the boss and knuckle down with the others getting everything ready..i,ve met you Arran...Be yourself, you made a great first impression on me lad!...
  11. I love a good Monolith...Life after death

Oak climb with my Son Seb 2012

The first tree my son ever climbed was this oak years ago...i took him up with me at 8 years old...We returned 17 years later to both climb it!
  13. Whatever works for you..couldn,t use it in Central london, especially during the Olympics!..i can see why you have to be careful of the returning bolt but always wear a helmet..and keep your eyes protected....loving the pictures...all the green open spaces and leaf litter everywhere, reminds me of home...in the meantime i,ll stick to my throwbag..i,m like Spiderman!
