  6. kingswood training is only down the road from you mate, they advertise on here in the column in the right of screen.
  7. check the bottom feed roller bearing hasnt worn badly causing the roller to sit lower than it should
  8. rangers are ok motors, worked on quite a few as a firm i sub for runs 7 of them, all have suffered from leaf spring failiure when not regularly loaded (these are for ferrying staff and diesel round). quite revvy engines but tow ok (just watch out for premature transmission problems), off road not great to be honest but alot of it is down to tyres, most have either a limited slip diff or electronic locker for when it gets snotty.
  9. job near me the other day, i priced it and was told it was dear as it involved traffic management to do it safely as it was on a major A road. a week or so later on bank holiday monday about half 6 in morning i hear chainsaws, look out the window and see transit vans parked across the road and lots of shouting and a load of blokes hacking the tree to bits, huge bark tears, stubs left..............looks a right mess
  10. i worked out in oz for a year and a half or so. did a 6 month stint doing timber extraction in a town about hours drive from sydney. loved every minute of it. if your looking for interesting sites there are various tree top skywalks dotted around every state, valley of the giants is probably the most well known. the blue mountains in katomba outside of sydney are worth spending a few days hiking round. you will see why they are called the blue mountains as the dense gum trees give off so much oil from their canopy their is a constant foggy haze over the area
  11. hello mate, hows tricks? im not sure if i remembered right but do u have a farmi 160??? if so what are they like??

    cheers fella

  12. ha ha quality, if all streets were like that i would enjoy driving to work!!!
  13. i thought you were getting rid of the mog and crane once that truck of yours was all sorted. i imagine that lorry is really versatile being a hook lift too
  14. i do like that crane u got on the mog. shes a peach
  15. practicality brown have 3 different sized tree spade wagons
  16. i was taking an ash tree down at local pub, chogging it down i noticed something on the cut i just made. turned out to be large calibre aircraft bullets and i happened to cut along their point of entry into the tree. was chatting to an old timer in the village and he said ww2 german fighter pilots used to regularly strafe the pub with bullets and probably hits the tree plenty of times
  17. would of been nice to have one of those mate but the site is to small to warrant it, chose this one because i can get into the areas the larger ones wouldnt without trashing the footpaths.
  18. am back on the job wednesday so will get some for you then, just to let u know its a 100hp tracked skidsteer mounted one. great for the crappy access and banks im working on
  19. cheers for the reference stevie, much appreciated. have been out working in greater london with a tracked mulcher so could of popped over with that if it was any use
  20. rear springs are heavy duty. 2 extra leaves over standard set up, ride is choppy when unladen but great when loaded. the whole truck is lifted 7.5 inches on suspension, 3inches on the body plus the tyres are 8 inches bigger than standard so pretty much everything is uprated
