  1. its newt and invertabrae fencing, dug below ground level it stops them crossing the road in this instance.
  2. try one of the speedy hire branches, ashford is only 2 junctions along the m20 from folkestone and they used to have them on their plant list.
  3. they dont really work out free tho, as they charge you for a pdf proof then cane you 7 quid to deliver a pen and 10 sheets of A4. i get the usual vista print emails clogging my inbox everyday with the same offers as you! you get the first 10 low grade ones free then every sheet of a4 you have costs 50p each!!it wont take too many invoices or quotes to end up costing alot of money just on stationary. i designed mine on there with my own pictures then took the design to a printer who pulled back the bleed margins and sharpened the colours and set it out as a template. That cost me a tenner for him to make the template then every sheet of A4 works out at 3p each and business cards work out a damned site cheaper than anything vista print offer.
  4. border looks too big, if you got alot of stuff to put on ie large jobs broken down when invoicing or a comprehensive quote etc you loose alot of space especially where the picture is lower down and have to run into another sheet
  5. there was one in west sussex that did custom tipper conversions to all jap trucks but i dont think they are about anymore
  6. Photos of a recent post and rail job
  7. to be honest you might struggle. certain breeds will fly more than others (we have some that roost in the trees) and the grass is always greener on the other side where animals are concerned. we have about 1200 chicken on our farm and i built a 6ft high rabbit fence to contain them which works well as we rarely have any escapees. one of my upcoming job is 6000 meters of fencing around a poultry unit and the spec there is only 4ft high so we will see how that goes!
  8. 4k is in the realm of a mk4 hilux, 1998-2001. if your gonna spend 2k on a tipper body spend 200 quid and uprate the rear springs or you will snap the standard springs within a few months. i have worked on more hiluxs than i can remember either in this country or when i was working in a fitter in a 4x4 expedition vehicle workshop in australia. look after them well with routine maitenance and they easily rack up big miles. i have seen over 400k on them.
  9. the spec can make the price vary dramatically, whether the bays are 1.8, 2.4 or 3m lengths, how many arris rails are being fitted per bay? Is the feather edge counter battened and capped?? additional mortising on the posts always adds costs. To me the price seems high but every area seems to have different rates
  10. Hi mate, no this mog used to be owned by access arboriculture in staffordshire, I think the one your on about is still sitting on frank atkinsons forecourt!

    Cheers

  11. well camoflaged excavator leaning on it??!!
  12. put a concrete slotted post in either side of the tree, scribe the outline of the stem against the panel, cut it out. drop the panel into the slot then bolt through from the other side. use 50mm x 50mm pegs as wind brace along the bottom. try and make the gap between t he posts as small as possible as it will be a weak point in the fence
  13. Shame you need 5 seats as I'm selling my hilux tipper, you could always tie the family on the back!
  14. What type of fencing is it? Panels, closeboard, palisade??
  15. CRO (white card) covers me for all vegetation clearance including associated machinery use ie mulchers, grinders chippers etc
  16. Marvin Heemeyer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia story behind it
  17. i'd buy some of the 15" chains off you if you wanna get shot of some.
  18. got a dell inspiron 530 office computer, not had a drop of trouble in 2 years. just brought the missus a laptop for her course which was a inspiron 1545 and thats pretty damned good too
  19. someones nicked ya featheredge mate!
  20. behind agri vehicles you can tow two trailers, the first trailer behind the tractor can be loaded but second one must be empty. when i go spreading compost i usually have a 13 ton 360 on a chieftan lowloader behind the tractor and on the back of the chieftan a 15ton capactiy bunnings spreader. Vosa have stopped me numerous times going through the dartford tunnell but that was only to provide an escort due to the length, never questioned us about the 2 trailers etc.
  21. did you call your missus back to catch it for you??!!!
  22. i pay 450 a week for a 13 tonner, delivery depending on distance generally 100 quid each way
  23. who you got milling it mark? if you got some really twisted / bent/ curved bits i got a customer that will take as much as you can supply
