  3. depends the size of the job most of the time i dig by hand i quite enjoy it, but if im busy and need to get it done i have a petrol auger with an 8" bit its fine if its good ground.
  4. [quote=Mesterh;251918 Ya boo sucks to the law then:thumbdown: I'll just have to wait until I'm stopped and made to get one since there is no way I'm getting a tacho otherwise. yep i agree with that
  5. i use these, £9 from screwfix for gear although i do have a rope bag for emmm a rope. Justin is that stein bag heavy duty material?
  6. Thomas thanks for the replies, i was hoping someone would reply that had used it and did not have a vested interest in the product, i think your replies are always going to be bias to the item. At £60 it seems expensive but if i ever get a chance to use one and it ticks all the boxes for me personally, then you never know i may part with the money. Hope the sales go well.
  7. Was that not for the single cab i thought it was £35k+ for the crew cab but i may be wrong. its a nice truck although a bit of money BUT not for local authority!! stop all the councilors going for "lunches" at the lap dancers John and get an order number written out and seal the deal
  8. That is awesome i think they are expensive though aren't they?

  15. What chain oil are you using? i had a husky bar do that on me in the woods once, i was using vegetable oil and thought it may have been that there was not enough anti fling properties for forestry felling/snedding work. Or it could have been i hardly ever greased the nose. lol.
  16. cool i see it now.
  17. what is? haha this all started out as a very clever simple solution, we will have a crane in next
  18. "i remember when i first started i would ofter have to go and get the line and strop from a pulley up in the skys because the weight of the rope would take it up past me lol" hahah ive had that one now if im for example 10foot below the pulley my groundy puts a stopper knot in the rigging rope 10 feet from the end, its now always on the same level as me.

  21. There you go Rob,song from back in the day- we call it "wife beater" here...... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa_PbyWUZ4Q]YouTube - Special Brew by Bad Manners[/ame]
  22. There is a few on ebay, id agree with ic trees that its quite an investment to not use it all the time, i have a 15 year old ram pedestrian grinder so if it sits for weeks at a time its no big deal but connect the battery and away it goes. But if you can justify it then go for it, Simon (big boss beechwood) who posts on here was selling a nice hardly used grinder before xmas he may still have it i think it was a greenmech. And welcome to the forum mate
  23. the way i see it is the timber is zip lining down its own rope to save you having a guide rope to pull it over the hedge as well as a rigging rope. is that right stevie?
  24. the link does not work for me
  25. Jelly your compassion astounds me
