You could have a 4 stroke that worked upside down by providing it with an efficient oil scavenge pump and a dry sump, with separate oil tank. But power to weight ratio would be bad

Wyk, so I am still a little confused; here, "You could also add fingers ports that act as both transfers and boost ports." you seem to be implying that a boost port is not a transfer port, yet above you seem to say that a boost port is an additional transfer port. Also, what are finger ports, which you denote as different to either?

Thanks for all the explanations given. Is anyone able to say what difference in power could be expected where the only difference between two engines is one is closed and one is open ported. I know this is an impossible question but someone might be able to give a rough idea

In my experience dif lock counts most in traction but 4 wheel drive gives you steering -

Creape bandage soaked in horse oil, if you can get hold of the real stuff, leave it one for a week or more. You'll probably loose some skin

Whilst what has been said here about Churches having lots of money, small Churches being funded from above may well be true of Anglican and Catholic Churches, the same is not true of other denominations, Baptist, etc who may have no central organisation let alone funds
