  1. No way, would be dead now if I was
  2. Thought I was going into the hedge myself for a moment!, still, all's well that ends well
  3. Just wanted to thank you for reminding me that death walks behind us, when you pulled out of the airfield today right in front of me apparently without looking
  4. Sorry, is that you then, all cut and cleared based on the old airfield, running a unimog?
  5. They run a unimog and I am told are Irish, not members here then?
  6. Better? Wonder why I had to tow one out the mud then?
  7. Anyone know of a firm called, 'All cut and cleared' working out of Cheddington/Long Marston?
  8. If only words to take away an ounce of this tragedy, sadly they can't but wish you some small solace
  9. Ok for thin stuff wouldn't want to lug 12" wood to it
  10. Is there a call for an Aspen dealer in Hemel hp4? Would you use it?
  11. SBK brush killer is similar chemically to agent orange, mix it up with paraffin, diesel or old engine oil
  12. Anyone got any experience of wood pellet machines? What to look for when buying, etc?
  13. Use an old pulley as used on building sites for hauling stuff up or look at 4x4 winching supply sites
  14. Look at the slow mo vid and see that the wood is split before it pings it away to the side. In any case I've always imparted a slight twist to the axe as it hits the wood, reduces sticking and increases splitting. Not impressed
  15. Think of a number, double it. Add 20% then give customer a 20% discount for prompt payment
  16. That's the way of it, good quality materials are the answer
  17. Heard it said that it gums the rings up, hence the addiction But I think the real problem is that where people are to heavy handed, it can cause a combination of hydraulic locking and/or backfiring. Used sparingly should be fine and always spray whilst engine is turning not before cranking
  18. Love it, like to see more detail of pulley set up, etc
  19. Spruce. How much is cheap? Hertfordshire
  20. If the code's the same, they're the same
  21. Overheating; some friction somewhere, clutch, chain brake? Running too lean? Partial seizure?
  22. Looks good but hoped you used fork to tap the turfs tight as they may shrink, water well
  23. Owww! that made me feel uncomfortable, like a shiver down my spine!
