  1. Top stuff!!! I hope a decent promoter helps lads like this earn the £££ that they deserve from natural talent. A night watching stuff like this would be well worth a few quid .
  2. make sure you check the contens first certain machines you could be chewing for hours!!!
  3. Is there not a little bit of tree surgeon= £££ from cutting up trees+ firewood and not ££££= fencing contractor and no firewood. Good to see a different approach to fallen or patially fallen trees, if the tree isn`t a danger to anyone why remove it, same in forests why take all the dead wood away when there are so many insects and animals that need dead wood to survive. I think the preception of clean and tidy = no dead wood or dying trees about is wrong. Nature is a balancing act and often humans get involved way to early and break the natural food chain and habitat. Farmers are the same nice straight tramlines and clean fields of wheat, big frowns if you saw a poppy in a field of wheat or the tramlines were wigglly up the field, ( *cor look at that they don`t know what they are doing*). until they realised they could sell thier ORGANIC wheat for 4times the price of thier normal wheat with half the input costs on the organic. nice one Monkeyd look forward to seeing how the live felled oak survives in the future i bet it will outlast most of us on here!!
  4. Is there no one on here who could go help the lad finnish his job off? I am sure he would love to finnish it off propper! Working in the area , would only take a team an hour or so to finnish that off. nice job by the way red squirel
  5. http://www.treecycler.me.uk/about.html Try this fella he is a great guy and i am sure would be capable of doing a good job. Not to far away either
  6. Skylotec is the muts nuts in my eyes!! not found another to match it yet, currentlly running a dragonfly but.. love the floating D as you say easy to roll from one side to other
  7. First port of call if struggling to log onto a web page is to delete tempoary internet files and delete cookies. These build up over time using any internet page and makes the internet run slow or even stop. Sounds like this problem was a bit different.
  8. alot of elctro-hydraulic systems run a dump facilitie by having the ignition on for 10 seconds and pressing the button either way, obviouslly the engine not running. Also hitting the end of the conector on something hard is not a good idea because in time you will bur the end and either it will leak or stop working , 2 spanners of the right size crack the coupling off.
  9. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is great to see an idea turn into reality, the T-shirts look great Justin well done and thanks I will be in the market for some soon and i will PM you when i am ready.

  18. now that is good fun Mick , my brother and myself used to stand back to back and shoot, i had a ferret that always came out of the holes after a gun shot i tell ya that was handy some times. Our best tally for a sunday morning was 103 bunnies, took us ages to carry that lot back to the motor.
  19. cool thanks for that it all makes sense now nice shape to the tree in the end , it will be interesting to see a picture around july time
  20. ahh cheers john so what % reduction do you think it turned out to be then? bit more than 30%
  21. I was never saying it was a bad job, i was trying to establish if this was 30% as i thought it looked like a lot more. I have since realised i was confusing 30% reduction with 30% thin of crown and there is a difference. Appologies to John if i sounded i was criticising his work , i really wasn`t! I am no expert and want to learn:001_smile:
