  1. Is google optimization any good i cant see it making alot of difference.
  2. For long acents i walk up my 45ft ladders haha. Never really get over 70-80ft so from 45 can climb with ease. I think its the most efficient way possible and im not knakered when i get to tie in. Once tied in with primus acents are very very easy.
  3. Very good hitch love it but now use VT with hitch climber the icicle was not as smooth as VT. Either KNUT or VT is the way to go since using a pulley just makes sense.
  4. Space is limited no no an axe is not for me not when a motor can knocks its socks off instead. I was thinking while i got some time off to make them into mushrooms and stuff like that what do you guys think.
  5. If any one has new stlye hopper for sale let me know cash waiting. Shame would have loved to break that but its really fooked. At least your get it sorted damn that would piss on my parade.
  6. So you rekon split em up. Ok can any one recommend a reasonable splitter for under £500.
  7. Query here just cut down a walnut tree got 3 10ft lengths ranging from 6 inch dia to 10inch dia. Also 1 15 inch by 4ft piece. Any ideas of who might want it.
  8. The really big negative with that chip truck is now you have removed the drop sides when you sell it your market is tiny the arb market. The money that may have cost wont be redeemed at all when you sell apart from that not bad.
  9. The picture explains This is the lastest
  10. Right you have the normal plastic where the splice sits around then you have a dome shaped plastic which slides into the open part of the plastic splice holder when you pull the RG they slide together and release very very easy. Its very hard to explain ill try and get a pic up
  11. A little over 200 but well worth it imo its certified and makes climbing unbelievably more easy.
  12. I just got the new rg primus and its much better designed than the one in the above photos it has a cam instead of a prussic and it has the plastic ring with another plastic dome which when pulled together comes our of the rope splice very easy.
  13. Sorry to hear mate i have to say tho for all a transits sinns you dont sweat when they go wrong had my one for three years spent no more than £1000 on it in that time. My point is i was looking into mogs how much in expense do these machines cost over three years and how much more can you load them. Do they blow up alot.
  14. The problem is the AA dont represent 90 percent of our industry maybe 10 at most. Tell me are they about making money or making arb better hmmmmmmmm.
  15. If i ever get refused work because im not AA aprooved i shall seek and take legal action against any council as that is with out doubt a monopoly so far as small companies are not allowed into the AA unless you have dedicated managers office staff some one to sharpen the pencil. We should all blow some smoke up the AA arse they piss takers at best. And maybe the company is AA but they still only employ nptc climbers so whats the difference. AA Arb Assasination of small decent companys.
  16. Is BTS the training provider. The arse holes are out in force this xmas.
  17. I can only agree:001_cool:
  18. Guys if any one ever gets cctv of theifs youtube it so we can all se how they operate etc.
  19. Ppe aint even good here we use saws that all run over 20ms but our trousers only stop a saw at 20ms. For example 200t runs between 24-28 ms. A half tonne log hitting your head with or without skid lid is certain death. Common sense is our biggest protecter dont leave home without it.
  20. I sell unseasoned wood at £100 per tranny load. Thats what i have and people want it dont care about seasoned wood. If there house burns down they should maybe use that thing called a chimney.
  21. He got the job done and look he is still alive. Maybe we are the ones that have it wrong be nice to see who has more accidents yanks or brits im guessing its us. Look at the weather they get sweet.
  22. :confused1:If the system changing its only fair to make old hands retrain to. Every one past the 5 years mark should have to re-take the new tests over again. Since it would be unfair to make new climbers follow new rules no more grandfather crap. I wonder how many of you old boys would start moaning then.
  23. I think you can either climb or you cant there is no middle ground. I think 39/40/41 should all be one course and one assesment. in the tight times ahead i dont see many people do these courses only the ones needed by insurance companies.
  24. This is the worst time in a long time for tree work its going to get very quiet if things keep up. I would try the councils or ring all the companys in your area.
  25. Have ident numbers deeply engraved into the machine housing any which is grounded do not touch. Just a question did the chipper have wheel clamp hitch lock chain etc or was it just locked in a garage.
