  14. 8000 plus vat timberwolf price. new second hand maybe 1 yr old 6500-7500
  15. Timberwolfs do make a good chipper then let it down with weak bearings and plastic bits. All to save you hmmmmm them money. If you accept they need yearly or every 2 years bearings changed they are great if you dont like that buy a schiesing 1500-2000 hours on a set of bearings thats maybe 3-5 years without needing to change them. Go to prochip they are pukka orange plant to so its down to price shop about.
  16. Always thought about this but decided thats why i have a website. Worth ago but brings work to close to your private life.
  17. Im not renewing this years it is ****. You only get a decent response if you have a sponsered listing if you dont then its pot luck all on a rotation. IMO total waste of my money. yell.crap:thumbdown:
  18. I remember people raving about the schliesing and i know so many who have had problems. I only have a little TW and its snaps up v branches no problems Are you nusing the correct grade of hyro oil if its to thin this would cause low pressure i would have thought and impaired the performance.
  19. Great machines i have used about three 24/150 20/150s same housing as diesel TW but obvious differences. No hour clock. The 20hp can get blocked with wet fur. If you look at a new TW broucher the net power is the same as the diesel ???. Only weigh 575kgs can be towed on post 97 license one man can move it about with ease. ASS to reverse very twitchy. Maintenance is very easy.
  20. Find the highest branch that is stable. If the branches are thin and look weak i put my rope guide around several branches or rope round one branches but have a connection to a few more branches. So if it snapped you have a few back up branches to give you time to react. You can make a device using some rope with half to 1 metre length wrap round branches and connect your line to it using pulley. Or pay someone else
  21. I think advertising works differently for each person. But leaflets are worth a go. I get 80% word of mouth but that has taken a few years to ahcieve.
  22. All sorted put 1 wire wrong way round for any one who may have this problem in future use a battery tested loader will tell you if the battery holds a good charge and if the charge unit is sending a good charge.
  23. Hi mate, I have a different one its alot bigger and bolted to the underside of the chipper. It starts fine just tried it with battery charged from home. And its been fine for years just when i changed the engine out i put it back 90% correct i think i mixed the charge wire up i could really do with a pic of where the wires from the engine connect up if you have one.
  24. I just had to remove my engine all fine till today could not start low battery i have connected the wires wrong i just guessed all started every thing worked but today three days later no start its the 670 engine any one have any ideas or pics of there wires please.
