  1. Poor bloke was like most old people to skint to afford the over charged heating bills , and was just trying to live , rip mate
  2. took the back plate off and knocked the bearings out only one had a proplem the other looked fine , bearings done about 650 hours , changed both £ 20 + 2 new shims the large bearing was left in place as i never seem to have proplems with it , the good thing with the old entec simple enginering , bad thing the roter bearings never mind i have had it ten years and it has cost me about £2k in repairs and has made me thousands !!!

    to be hornest it was cheaper than a norm 346xp if you can find one , as the trio dont sell so i am snatching them up where i can

    Just bought a new tri 346 xp in 10 min's it will be a standard 346 xp
  5. We have been cutting and chipping for 2 weeks at the same site and the bearings on the chipper where starting to rumble so a quick change was needed to get all done for easter, 40 mins and back to work .
  6. Cliff at Boxer uk has a top of the range remote control boxer in at the mo i think it 's going for 22k

  8. stopped today same thing diesel generators and a sorted stuff , leftover stock from a machinery demo !!!!!!

  11. a bit of line i use dewalt drills no proplems , but for outside work i use the sthil petrol drill awsome never had a proplem and plenty of grunt
  12. Yes it get's wobbly thats when the hand held come out to play
  13. if you move the axels apart would that not cause more stress on the tyres when you do tight turnes or even normal road driving ?
  14. Stay with what you have cheaper and the tree rats will just chew your nut's we did a H of layering this year over 550 stems

  17. I use a p10 on my boxer i dont have to jump in and out of the cab though . It is also compact enough to get it and 300 m of stock fencing on the trailer and box strainers .

I have had a 6,000 k job stopped this winter as in the summer a turtle dove had nested in a part of the take down , so to allow it to have a chance to lay again in the same place this year the job was postponed , till next winter !! I hope , as turtle doves are on the special dont mess with list, many beer tokens if you do

  21. do be aware are you in a ash die back area all that fresh growth ! did 2 hectare of mostly ash coppice last winter 99.9% has ash die back looking around at the standards most of them have epicormic growth in the tops of the crown's it's rife around these parts once you look for it
  22. i also use the super light wellies most exelent boots full protection warm and light .
  23. got the red ones 75 notes had them over a year no proplem
