  1. good going tom, a fair day there
  2. other drivers sounding their horn is irrelevant imo, do you perform an emergancy stop everytime someone sounds their horn?
  3. women drivers . .
  4. and i thought you just minced about with loppers and wads of cash:001_tongue:
  5. thats bull, i used to use saturn knives on ocassion when i couldnt be bothered to grind myself, they came back un-equal in every way possible, theres a pic on here of them. what hacked me off was on their website they had something about '1 degree out causes mayhem' sent them back straight away, had them resharpened properly for free, but lost about 6 sharpens in the process
  6. too right! infact i would have said 12inch bar on the topper, but a 14 out here on softwoods is much handier for felling
  7. sweepstake time!!! i reckon on 310
  8. 200t 14bar 362 18 bar 660 30 bar
  9. sorry i meant arbclimber. . . dunno why i said arb girl:sneaky2: the eagle owl on the bt pole sounds funny as rory moon, the ones on tracks would be my choice
  10. i have, and it was a personal moral dilemma for me . . . i HATE cats. arb girl, youre forgetting the semi auto too haha
  11. haha, thought so, my cousins used to live down rock villas, aunt/unc still do, me and my cousins used to play and be a right pain all over that golf course
  12. yeah, i took a pic for you too dean . . . but i dont think she'd appreciate it being on the internet seeing as i was specifically told NOT to put it on facebook:biggrin: then again she diddnt specifically say arbtalk hmmm . .
  13. haha! the golf course which almost backs onto rock villas?
  14. hey ady, where abouts in rock is that? my mothers side of the family still live in rock:001_smile:
  15. real nice job steve, nice little deere too
  16. looking good steve
  17. haha, it'll toughen him up for sure:biggrin: no real work pics im afraid, a lot of work is multiple fells of pines, s.birch and oak for domestic clients, or pruning oaks maples and birch from 30ft-70 the past few weeks, and some bracing which is always fun. we did go to work by boat one day . . . no cars on this island, such a tranquil place to be bbq after work? why not:001_smile: and a house party
  18. i see companys needing to streamline their buisnesses, must arb firms are like a seive when it comes to wasting money through ineffiencies. i see unskilled workers becoming less ad less, teams of climbers doing the work, with mechanisation doing the donkey work. i think that with the advancements in green power, tree waste will be used much more productivly-to help power our citys and homes through bio powerstations. i think that tpo'd trees will be harder to work on, before any work is considered, a full bi-diversity survey will need to be done. britian NEEDS to plant trees though. looking out my window in sweden, i see 10times more trees and atleast 10times LESS tree surgery outfits compared to the uk. the public needs to take responsibility for their trees on their property, just because its so easy to remove the tree, doesnt mean its worthless
  19. awesome job andy!
  20. that tracked dumper is awesome!
  21. on the ball as usuall mark:thumbup:
