  1. I was there I just posted some photos here: http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/9674-anyone-else-going-show-friday.html Where abouts are you based Scuff ?
  2. It was a pretty good show, not massive but some nice kit. I met Gimmer, Timbercutterdartmoor and Tommer9 briefly and also bumped into Benlightfoot for a chat. We had further explanation of thermal imaging from Mr Cowen which was very interesting. Anyway here are some photos of the show.
  3. Log burners and Woodchip boilers are both carbon based sources of energy. We need to be looking at building homes that are passive. Well insulated and heated by the sun and body heat. We also need to cut the amount of electricity we use.
  4. Our 371 and 372 both running Oregon bars dont seem to oil very well. We run plantoil in them. When they stop oiling we clean out the bars and they oil fine again but the bars soon get clogged and the chain stops getting oiled. The other saws do not seem to suffer from this problem at all. The oil pumps seem to work fine. Any ideas?
  5. Here is a photo of some COBRA we installed. I think installation is the same as BOA. The splicing is very simple. Bit of a crappy photo.
  6. I will have to get it from my boss so I will post it tomorrow
  7. Someone cut the strap on our Hobbs and my boss got stitch it in Frome to make us a new one, they have also repaired a harness for us in the past. We did get a proper replacement in the end. I can get you the details for Stich it if you need them.
  8. Im going. Did a quick job for the estate this afternoon and saw glimpses of machinery through the trees. Say Hello if you recognise me. I will have a downlands tree surgery top on.
  9. Hope it turns up
  10. Do your tool carrying krabs have to be auto locking or three way? Are dog leash snaps, scewgates or krabs that are sticky and no longer auto lock marked for tool use only acceptable? My opinion is that they are fine and our Loler inspector allows us to keep broken 3 ways for tool use only.
  11. You cant say that about a 372:001_tongue:
  12. Kalahari bushman style!
  13. That would be fantastic

  15. Currently: 10mm Roblon on Yale XTC+ tied in a 3/3 VT (Top leg underneath on all the braids). Self tends nicely. I re-tie it as a 6 wrap Scwabish when chogging down and chokering the stem.
  16. Couldnt you have just lent the guy a coat?
  17. Very cool, I really like it.
  18. I have seen the future.
  19. Another convert. Excellent. Cts the distel doesnt release as easily as the VT and makes the system hard work, try it again with a VT
  20. Import a weaver cougar. There only $190.
  21. Any ideas who makes the unmarked rings on Stien and Cresto Friction savers?
