  1. Pictures might help
  2. Thanks chris, very pleased with it, got it lengthened out a bit so can now get two lots of 2.5 m on on the flatter ground, just got to remember to put the legs down now as spent so long on roofmounts I might have forgotten a time or two. 😜 Tidy machine in on same site putting up the new poles last week, hardly left a mark even on the wettest bit of the woods.
  3. Only pictures I could find on my phone at moment Iink to where it came from and I had mounting bracket made up at the local fabricators. https://www.riko-uk.com/product/40/357
  4. Not available on my android mobile 👎
  5. That's what we do with our grab on a hire 3 ton digger, company I deal with were fine about it and even fitted quick fitments to the bucket ram and pipes so was easy to swap back to digging if needed and then when it go's back to normal hire work they take them off and put back to normal.
  6. If you want to try lifting it in be my guest but bet your hopper snaps off before you get anything near the rolers for it to try 😈
  7. That's a big claim, hope the performance matches the gob!
  8. Fantastic will be getting a few ordered for harnesses and 1 for in mewp bucket as worked out its probably going to take longer to get down with that than it would if you were climbing and could just bail out. 👍
  9. Quick note I've noticed is that it's the pouch only and contents not included so you'll need to get your own C.A.T and bandage to go in it. Shame it's not altogether as it's a fantastic idea.
  10. This is the other video with it in. Personally really like it as there is no gates to forget to do up, almost impossible to cross load or side load anything that shouldn't be, something I'd get for a light rigging kit then go more traditional for blocking down.
  11. I got the ground saw version as a chipper saw as take no time to switch on to trim of a awkward branch but recently have had it in the tractor cab while forwarding to trim off odd missed branch or loose a low branch in my way as it's realy light, takes up very little room and won't stink out the cab with fuel fumes to give me a headache, stealth saw all the way for us these days
  12. Pennine biomass have 1 for sale at moment if you want me to pm you there contact details?
  13. Shame, she's nice and even after April has gon may be allowed to grace the wall along side a few from last year ;-)
  14. Big bolt through the bracket and into the recess for the top link till I can have time to make up something better.
  15. The massy and botex combo out in the woods earning a crust for a few days, we recon about 300ton of mostly sycamore thinnings to extract, 4m stuff is lovely but the 2.5 m stuff we cut early on in the job has been a pain today as hard to get two bays on, going to need some heat on the bolts to help loosen them so I can shove the back bunch out a bit to give a little more room, Mondays problem now!
  16. Fitted and working fantastically really has improved the crane performance at low rpm on the tractor.
  17. Like it! So believable 👍
  18. Not so much broke as needing fixing, fitting this lot to the botex to improve performance from a pto high flow pump instead of off the spools, no instructions made it a bit fun.
  19. Hate to think what that costs a day and cost of transport! Impressive machine!
  20. Problem is most of us who are on it all the time avoid weekends unless absolutely necessary or if I am working it tends to be out pricing domestic work to catch people in Keep at it nd good luck.
  21. Multiplat, ahhh I've gon all nostalgic, still got a hank of it hung up with a big Swedish strop and a willens t22 all blue full body harness from when I started, I keep it to show the lads how it was not that long ago when they mone about gear.
  22. Luckily most don't last Ian and are just irritating for a while then disappear just to be replaced by another keen clueless sole. Getting quals is essential and fairly easy to sort but expensive, getting the experience that an employer wants and needs to be able to pay you a decent wage is a whole other ball game, you'll either have to work for minimum wage till you prove yourself or sell your sole to the Dark Side (utility company) for a few year's. I know we all sound negative but if you have stuck planting on piece work you've obviously got some drive to work and I hope you the best and enjoy the journey.
  23. Stop posting pictures of delicious health food, Sunday lunch was a long time ago and I'm getting hungry again 😇
  24. ^^^^^^^ What he said but the 300 gomtaro is a bit easier to put in it unless your 6ft + as it won't be longer than your leg. Also the new one's click into the scabbard so a lot less chance of it falling out and beheading your ground staff 😜
  25. I'm going to follow this and opinions on it with interest as I have had a few refused recently for what in my opinion are necessary works on safety grounds but in the opinion of the council planning representative who hold only basic at best tree hazard qualifications are unnecessary.
