  1. No that's a range rovers or discovery natural habitat A defenders is parked up next to a diesel pump 😜
  2. I'm doing the opposite next week, just lifted the HC tub off nd prepend the quadtech to go back on once the rest of the bodywork is done. Strap all the way round it with long rachet straps then lift. Poor old girl is looking a bit sorry for herself at moment but should be back in full form by end of next week. Hopefully.
  3. Is that what's sometimes called dog vomit for obvious reasons? Looks more like someone has had a bad curry!
  4. Got a feeling that last little slip wasn't ment to happen by the look on his face, nutter.
  5. I like that, nice way of pre seeding the situation. As for dropping price to get the job, only if spec is adjustable like saying I can bomb the tree out nd not rig but your lawn might be damaged or we chip onto site etc
  6. ****, going to have to change chippers again.
  7. What they going to have left to sell...
  8. Yeh, basically but now some clients have got it into them heads we need refreshing every 5 years or to complete a higher unit
  9. Climbing, Arial rescue, chainsaw from rope and harness, rigging/dismantling and pruning.
  10. Tell him to hurry up nd get back to me with a date to do cs50 Should be a fun few days playing about for you 😁
  11. Keeping the rb now, good decision Youd regret getting rid when that off road job came in.
  12. Just have kids and never see your ipad again you mean..
  13. Apparently large file's make for high quality knife making steel
  14. Two from this week's finds, long left chain slowly strangling a sycamore and a badly placed fire doing some serious damage
  15. Just got 1 of those last week and seems good so far and definitely less messy than normal, only downfall is it is a bit big to fit into prop shaft uj's unless it's tilted open a bit especially on the landys ones.
  16. Pivot steer is slightly more unstable on side slopes but only when turning as the centre of gravity shifts as you turn. Wider tires and practice and experience can overcome this. Not heard about them causing more ruts than conventional steer machines but others with more experience on wetter ground might be better to advise on this.
  17. Bit of a head scratch sorting 2 fallen trees today massive root plates on a steep bank. Held them back with the winch till the timber was cut of then let the go down the bank trying not to block the footpath. Slightly overload the kabota fetch the timber out and winched 1 stem out with the truck.
  18. Megger machines with eye watering price tag's, something I've always wanted to have a go with to realy see what a capable machine feels like to operate.
  19. Beautiful! That'll serve someone well for sure
  20. Not as bad as new clutch, duel mass conversation, front brakes and a few little odd N sods on landy cherrypicker which is going to hurt in the region of 1500 but at least she drives and stops a lot better and was out working and earning again today.
  21. No its towards gross train weight but applies some nose weight onto the towball which inturn increases your rear axle weight. Quite often with a landy tipper you are OK on gvw but over on the rear axel because of the way the load is positioned over and behind it especially with tool lockers pushing it back further. I know this is definitely the case with my 130twin cab.
  22. Sorry can't answer your question as years since I've had to use this sort of calculation but out of interest how come your getting involved with objecting to a application? I'm not saying your wrong and mind your own business like we often hear on here. Also if I started quoting helliwell to the local council they wouldn't have a clue what I was going on about.
