  1. Sorry my bad 4ltr 4pot phaser engine, still sounds good. I had heard that about the paint but lad who will be doing it knows his stuff. All sorted thankyou treequip, how you getting on replating that disco tipper from gvw of less than 3ton so it can carry more than a saw and bait box?
  2. To mr hill, bet you wer popular that day and the cost was a shy under 3.4 k which was all the ally, steel and tipping gear so not bad compared to some iv heard about. Depending on cost whole thing might be getting tangoed to hide the silver but if too much just the cab will get done, did think about vinal wrap for the box but as still do a bit of subby works with truck and chipper so ill need boards that can come off without much drama, no silver lady's but did find an action man tied to the winch by one of my mates. Just spent a few hrs fitting a fancy new DAB radio and speaker's (halfords, half price) so will have something else to listen to than a singing 6 pot engine. Ill make the effort to work out what she could hold tomorrow and then some1 might tell me how overweight I could be.
  3. Take the old 1 out and take it with you, any garden equipment seller will prob have 1 to match as are a common size for the honda engine.

Well done Ty, I watched a program all about this places last week and what them lads went through to fight in those conditions doesn't bare thinking about, digging in absolute silence so the enemy dont hear you and blow you up 1st. sobering to think about and remember what went on nearly 100 years ago to maintain our freedom.
  10. You could always have a sloping chip box with full lid so same hight as cab at front and higher at the back to make loading easier with the added benefit of being more airodinamic, guessing it must be an iveco or did you get a merc sprinter 4x4 thats been seen lurking around the norteast?

  14. : She's back! Big shiny box with lots of room for chip, not worked out how much it will hold yet but guessing lots, barn doors so no1 can see whats inside, fold down flap for reversing chipper onto tight drives. Just fitted a bunch of LED flashes, big 1 up top,2 smaller on the bonnet and 2 on the rear frame and 150ish ft of plasma line on the winch so no more shredding hands on the old cable. Not the best picks sorry but done with phone, should get some better ones tomorrow when used in anger for the 1st time.
