  1. The 1 I used was a farmi and a botex 360tl that simply had a set of link arm ends welded into the crane A frame to hook up the chipper, longer pto and a very short top link also onto a bracket just below the slew point. The crane was welded by wilsons so didn't affect the warranty and the chipper was unmodified apart from a longer pto shaft.
  2. Thanks all. Reg, yes they work if you put something like stock board or ply down 1st but it more for the customer s benefit to make it look like we care about his lawn. Pete, the 2 points were a bit experimental to give a new lad a go at technical rigging somewhere where if he got it wrong not a lot mattered too much as he had never held a lowering line before so 1 experienced and 1 novice groundy did me proud. Stephen, go on hit me with it, what I get shouted at for :what: I can take it
  3. Wind up with us ,just got 1st tree down on rd too go to when matty gets in with keys too lock up! Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  4. Latest little video from me, hope you enjoy.
  5. Only worried about engine mods that affect performance not bolt on extras as they described them yesterday when I called in to see the lovely girls in our local office to c about a new policy.
  6. Try NFU,they do mine when No1 ells can touch them or aviva if it isn't a modified vehicle.
  7. No id plates, re sprayed, no decals of make modal, you sure it's legitimate and not still belong to some poor sod ells? Always a worry these days with 2nd hand stuff.
  8. Thanks for sharing Pete, that'll give me something to chortle about for the rest of the morning
  9. That happens in my house as well, often find myself saying things that were ment to stay in my head!
  10. Better on fuel than running the landy 130, slightly lower mpg but carries more than twice the load, still recon on getting an average of 20+ mpg as long as not flogging it hard so can't complain
  11. Pah, that's landrover G4 orange, not far off wendywolf orange I'll admit, might have to trade in the quadchip for a chipper with a colour to mach! Do bandits come in orange?
  12. Do you mean the drill? It will struggle with a 5" auger in most ground also it will have a good go at busting your wrist if it jams. Excellent tool for drilling timber and i use mine loades in my timber craft work as it's the only thing I have that can turn the 2"verritas tendon cutter. I also have a stihl 1man post hole borer and it's got far more tork and is a lot easier to keep hold of!
  13. Should stand out a bit that's for sure! Now for my go at doing the wheels and derv tank in matt black.
  14. Just got her back from the spray shop, well happy!
  15. By the look of that water it'd cool you down then condem you too the toilet for about a week  Twas very hot today swinging my little grinder in anger against some conifer stumps.
  16. Candels lit in our house late into last night as a nod to what was sacrificed. Great grandfather would talk about ww2 but never ww1 which he served in.
  17. Those flags will have seen things no man should have had too endure, but we should remember those men and respect the effort and sacrifice.
  18. That's the 1, very similar to mine
  19. Chisel tool role, separate bits for files of different sizes spanners etc, roles up and will fit into your backpack no problem, worth getting a decent leather 1 and you will never need another, had mine over 8 years.
  20. It's the stated towing capability of the vehicle not the actual mas of the vehicle that is a legal thing, I can tow 3.5 ton with my 2.4 ton landy but only 2.1 ton with my 2.2 ton santerfay. This is why a lot of lasses towing horse boxes with freelancers or hyluxes end up in bother because they are overloaded. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  21. For those who asked for pictures. Talking to another lad and the shaft might not come out but you just put a pto uj spline thing inbetween. Also if his thinking is right and the model number is related to the pull size mine is a 13.5ton pull. Anyone concur or correct this?? sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  22. Just got back today from two weeks on arran, lovely place. The distillery is a super place, wife and kids spent time in the cafe while me not being a coniser got educated o the tour. Didn't know you were that close Stephen. The tiscaly on skyeis also a inspiring setting and worth the treck even if you don't saver the dram sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  23. Darn those pesky kids, I'd have got away with it if it weren't for them! Better just stick to redex then. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  24. It won't take a lot to give it a hint of colour and thats all it'll take for them to think your using a bit on the sly. Chemical test proved what he had in there but is it worth the hassle. Or just use better quality green two stroke sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
