  1. Cheers bud, twas a giggle and raised a few hundred for charity.
  2. Yes and I'll be looking forward to seeing you all at the arb show boys :-*
  3. Prize for Mr egg. Bit chilly but quite liberating to find out what having long hair feels like.... Flipping irritating!! Think big stew was enjoying the costume a little too much as was off to fair and pub still all dressed up.
  4. Fine on flat ground but struggling with any type of hill as the bike starts to lack traction due to the trailer quickly getting heavier than it can pull, same trailer behind am alpine style tractor was at least 3 times as productiveand actually less ground damage in my experience.
  5. Whit Monday charity parade in town today so up early to finish float and mad dash to get it all together while dressed in our best!
  6. Used that a few times winching vehicles out when a sapling just won't be strong enough so used rachet straps to tie several together and it's amazing how stronger anchor you can create out of hardly anything.
  7. Yeh, real foresters would have been shouting, fighting and braking things far more than in that video, or maybe I've watched to much ax men. Think a tie back to another tree would have been more affective than the props.
  8. You wouldn't want to be on a tonnage rate with that but on a priced environmental sensitive site it'd be fantastic, looks such a simple concept.
  9. Landrover show at Ripley castle today with all the family. Tomorrow cut grass which resembles a silage field and if I'm a good boy I might be allowed to fit the shiny stuff I got today. Monday if charity parade and fair in Richmond which I got talked into partisapating with.
  10. Better make sure it's bigger than everyone else 's toy then rich ;-)
  11. Bid knocker but careful as we had 1 shatter hitting it too hard with a sumo knocker, quite stony ground mind.
  12. Can't camp at showground so got us down at pub to enjoy the beer and the band, well looking forward to it.
  13. Nothing like a coffee made with water boiled in a cast iron kettle over a wood fire and served in my dan erp mug! Black, 1 sugar - but even the sugar is optional. ;-)
  14. I like the coffee blend but don't like the massive money making machine that it's become, cropping up everywhere putting good small independent business out of customers. Both days jon.
  15. New skid lid, pants and an overpriced coffee probably. Probably end up with many little shiny things to add to the collection.
  16. Did get very strange looks when I was sat against the landy with my cup on the floor between my legs working the coffee pump which could have looked a little suss.
  17. I wasn't picking falt as such but these are fundamental things that could make a difference between everyone going home or not, I'm no saint and don't do everything "by the book" but to advertise it to the world could cost you potential work which this lad is obviously keen to get and make a successful business which has to be admired these days.
  18. Well put together video with some good shots, video looks very professional. BUT, groundsman without helmets, top handled saw cutting on the ground, groundsman using big saw without protective trousers on and I presume you without a helmet on cutting of that hung up tree. Just a few things to watch out for as you never know how clued up a potential client could be and disregard you because of these points and thats without getting into the safety side of things.
  19. Husky dealer would be a better bet and get a 540xp eh johny just don't drop it onto the strop.
  20. Mine has duels and if it tips over with these on you shouldn't be allowed to operate a kettle never mind a grinder!
  21. Chance a contract grinding for another company so a mid range machine would suit it, the Hb20 would do it perfectly but considering if I send someone else would they be as productive as I am with it.
  22. Glad I looked at this thred as was tempted to give chris guill a call and go look at the 2nd hand 1 he is selling not far from me. Think I'll hang on for now and see what ells comes up.
