  1. Quoted unfortunately, but client added a whole bunch of work onto and just told us to get on with it and bill him with an added bit for what I forgot on the original quote, his words... The landy made it better but still needed pole saw to reach the middle. Climbing it would have been a nightmare as whoever did it last left most of it in the top so getting through it would be nasty.
  2. Warrior 1200 same as I have on the twin cab 130, been good and with the built in remote control it's a lot of pull for your pounds.
  3. Mine has evolved again after a trip to the landy show last weekend, should get winch fitted on saterday and she'll be ready for the wet summer ;-)
  4. Bit of a hedge mission for a few days, over 15m3 of chip and a good trailer load of timings and crap out of this thing! Last picture shows the full L shape of it and width. Sertenly underestimate just how wide the sod was on top!
  5. Think he went to work for someone at rippon running a pellet press thingy that went flop and now on for rgb forestry last I heard. + he sold that nice valtra with cabmount.
  6. Was it landgards machine that came in last time for you? Can he not help again? You could try shaun at Zetland Estates as he has a 30ton splitter to do your bigger stuff into billets.
  7. Sorry south park.
  8. It's natural layering where branches touch the ground and root so becoming trees within there own rite. The one's in North park are brilliant and always fancied climbing them 1day.
  9. Staying there too, few of us northerners going to come tent it. Look forward to seeing you there Katie.
  10. Frankindigger, put a timber grab or sheer head on that and it could be good on sensitive sites.
  11. Apart from sticky fingers when feeding the fire it's excellent stuff for logburners!
  12. A few picks from sat at the landy show at Ripley, last 1 is all wheel steer and can crab sideways or just rear steer, stupidly impressive since its two fairly standard front axles with hydraulics controlling them.
  13. Cheers bud, twas a giggle and raised a few hundred for charity.
  14. Yes and I'll be looking forward to seeing you all at the arb show boys :-*
  15. Prize for Mr egg. Bit chilly but quite liberating to find out what having long hair feels like.... Flipping irritating!! Think big stew was enjoying the costume a little too much as was off to fair and pub still all dressed up.
  16. Fine on flat ground but struggling with any type of hill as the bike starts to lack traction due to the trailer quickly getting heavier than it can pull, same trailer behind am alpine style tractor was at least 3 times as productiveand actually less ground damage in my experience.
  17. Whit Monday charity parade in town today so up early to finish float and mad dash to get it all together while dressed in our best!
  18. Used that a few times winching vehicles out when a sapling just won't be strong enough so used rachet straps to tie several together and it's amazing how stronger anchor you can create out of hardly anything.
  19. Yeh, real foresters would have been shouting, fighting and braking things far more than in that video, or maybe I've watched to much ax men. Think a tie back to another tree would have been more affective than the props.
  20. You wouldn't want to be on a tonnage rate with that but on a priced environmental sensitive site it'd be fantastic, looks such a simple concept.
  21. Landrover show at Ripley castle today with all the family. Tomorrow cut grass which resembles a silage field and if I'm a good boy I might be allowed to fit the shiny stuff I got today. Monday if charity parade and fair in Richmond which I got talked into partisapating with.
  22. Better make sure it's bigger than everyone else 's toy then rich ;-)
  23. Bid knocker but careful as we had 1 shatter hitting it too hard with a sumo knocker, quite stony ground mind.
  24. Can't camp at showground so got us down at pub to enjoy the beer and the band, well looking forward to it.
