  1. Didn't axactly find this place but have taken out a lot of trees and was back to grind the stumps so the grass can be cut back so it can be seen again from the main hall.
  2. Not much recoil, think it's an electronic spring to give a bit of feel but not anough to knock a 7 year old girl over. The boy was too small for that yet but had a go with the arrows and climbed on plenty of tractors.
  3. The tractors would be music to your ears Jon!
  4. Thought you'd like these Paul from a show I went to last weekend. Some fire pits Some v8 majors And hannah showing she has inherited my eye with a gun on the laser clays.
  5. Yeh, strange place, good Mexican restaurant just off the high street I seam to remember.
  6. Darn was almost there last weekend in Wooster.
  7. Think the ones who give me the smile these days have already been beaten with a stick, must find out which area the research was done;-)
  8. Really hope that line was turned off as he twanged it a few times with bits, wish I'd has that for topping today's overgrown hawthorn hedge!
  9. You off work still doing a few guvy jobs? Can't beet a 200 as a topper that's for sure! Best time to swap to Aspen after a rebuild when everything is in top condition especially if the saws not in daily use.
  10. Yeah all oak iv felled and milled, been drying for about 5 years now apart from the smallest bit about 3 years, forgot to take any of the making as normal sorry
  11. Morning call-out, been cracked a long while by the looks of it but just reached the point of no return today. Bit of climbing for Ben deadwooding a few ash with his 1st treeverse to save coming down to get up next tree. Then finish a bit of sanding on this back at the workshop.
  12. You could make them wider then for more stability
  13. Avon skin so soft, you smell like a old woman but the critters stay away, saved our holiday on skye a few years back as the little vampires were wick!!
  14. It was a good well built machine with a few features that I really liked, the one touch throttle button on the hopper and the belt tension release to make changing blades easier but lacked central grease points which is a step backwards and the hopper felt a little bit small at only 3" wider than the quadchip which had no support under it which is going to stress the welds at the front of the hopper during travel bounce. If I was after a tracked machine this thing would be it but just lacked wow as a tow behind for what I'm after.
  15. Forst are hinting to middle of next year and the way we are going with putting so much demand and hrs on the quadchip it's be bust or worthless by then which is not what I want as its currently such a reliable machine just not designed to do what we are asking from it nearly every day. 1928 tt is such a numb looking beast unfortunately and the GM 190didnt live up to what I'd hoped so forst is looking likely then change when the tt comes out next year.
  16. And there's the 30k pricetag! Last forever like!!
  17. It's the lowest hp 8"machine going at 37hp, spoke to a lad who had a inline and loved it and then got 1 on a tt and recond it wasn't a patch on the original as it looses power through the belt set up.
  18. That's been my problem, finding something to complete with the quadchip but bigger and not costing 30 odd grand + vat.
  19. You too sir, wish we'd had a bit longer for a few more jars, wanted to do something for years and this year thought sod it and sent in the application and got a space (might have something to do with offering to do some photos from the cherry-picker) costs not too bad at £1.50 per ft of frontage. Families all good at moment thanks, Aarons condition is stable at the moment and preparing for him to start school in September which could be interesting.
  20. So I'm guessing from lack of replies no 1 has been doing any shows as a way of promoting their business face to face.
  21. Selling my quadchip and at the moment the st8 is looking the best contender. Had the gm190 out last week and it was good but struggled to get conifer greenery further than the middle of my chipbox and felt it pulled in no better than the quadchip so I'd be upgrading to a bigger more powerful machine with little more improvement in performance which says a lot for how good the quadchip is but the st8 performed like a much bigger machine and really packed the chip in.
  22. A wash would be good or a new shiny 🚜. Will have a work out Monday night on space but happy to help promote your chipping at the same time as out tree clear work, might have my new chipper by then :-D
