  10. Lol lol lol seem them stuffed with all sorts of crap bricks, cement and oversized rock ..... Stock up on files. I did a job once just cutting up some windblown old limes that were semi hollowed though the cavities had filled with fine sandy particules turning to clay what a bitch of a job that was. Felt like I had a day of filing no fun trust me From Bobs iPhone
  11. Just around 55k for me on the house but it probably stands me at 160k
  12. Now that is geeky .. When I first started tree work my first job was driving the David brown 1290 lol
  13. One thing I have learnt is make sure you get your depth gauges right cause if you don't all the filing in the world won't help cut anything!
  14. Good saw. I've even had one in the tree and trust me when I say I'm No heavy weight!
  15. Sorry chaps it a quick reply I meant just day time stuff never priced for night stuff but depending on the job 2.5 hours per man min
  16. I would say £60 minor if the job going to take less that an hour the £30 per hour per man there after
  17. Definitely no problem if it was going to go it would of gone by now. All the weight is in the head. Just piece bits off it best you can but warn the punter tenant that there is a chance of damage due to the way it's fallen. If possible get a winch on it to pull it back or to sturdy it you will be fine.
  18. I'm a total fan of the canon ixus range they take absolutely brilliant pics though may be a touch over the budget mine the canon ixus 960 matches up to anything I've seen in a digital camera and surpasses usually to anything of comparable value I feel that sometimes it makes sense to just push the boat out a little.
  19. Here's ours Cost a fortune but well worth it, last year with all that snow and cold weather we didn't hardly have to put the central heating on and we got 400 quid back off the gas . Now if I can get the kids on that bike in the garage generating some electrickery we will be able to half the bills again !
  20. Not a bad day really, went around all day looking at other arbs work . At one point I had to put the aircon on in the hilux back in the woods next week though so making the most of it , better dig the woolies out I believe were in for a cold spell!
  21. I've glued my sheath together with heat gun glue not lost it once since !
  22. I think if we didn't have tpo's large expanses of older more valuable amenity trees would of been lost due to the fact that most places I've found that the trees are protected are on properties in more affluent areas are a lot of the time they just want the things gone due to it shedding leaves on the lawn or the merc and they have the money to do it. There again I've also seen trees felled by some richer people knowing that they are protected and they just take the hit. I'd keep the tpo's
  23. I'm a silky zubat 330 around the £47 quid mark well worth the saving up a little more
  24. I think it has myself but because it's round the back of the crem it's not been noticed. It's has the head dropped now and within the next few months the rest is gonna bite the dust with the rest of them ..... Just in time for restocking the log pile
  25. Pholiota is a root and butt killing fungi but some trees can live with it for a while though like I've said earlier this ons a little to close to the crematorium if it fell it would do serious damage and we would have them bodies piling up. I think now they are gonna just take the head out to remove the weight and leave the log till the rest are ready to be done some pruning some felling ... Pity though you got me thinking now I would of been interested in the decay..... hmmmmm! Watch this space
