  1. I've just sent my super the info on the igland 55 and 65h it looks like the on that we are thinking of laying to rest. It's had some welding do to it but the piece that's been welded has been done wrong so it got to be all undone and rewelded so as was pointed out at the start of all this it may be better to invest in a new piece of kit seen as this one is a little old and tired. Also after all the welding it going to have to go to an engineer to have An inspection to determine the safety of the welds and so on....... So it's a case of get yer hands in yer pocket and buy the kit !
  2. Right chaps anybody know where we can get a 6 ton tractor winch pto driven 3 point attachment in the Manchester area and a ball park figure on price
  3. Do you know I forgot about dick Leigh work use him it's a pity he hasn't got a website
  4. I beg to differ chaps the daldinia is not the cause it's a symptom the tree is getting on a little as can be seen in the photos so yep dead wooding it needs and the ivy does need shifting agreed but this is a declining tree nearing retirement next to a road where cars probably travel at 50 mph I don't think some poor chap hitting some dead branch in the Middle of the road or though the windscreen would appreciate the fact that the tree was saved the axe.
  5. Magnetic trays. Wot a good idea ! Thanks for that
  6. I've just a couple of dats ago fix the same problem.... But I don't know the cause but I can tell you that I Cleaned the air filter Emptied the fuel tank and blew it out with the air line Cleaned the fuel filter Stripped the carb off and mildly blew it clean Put carb setting back right after messing with them like a man possessed cause I had only took one Ms200 doh! Put it all back together and hey presto working again Good luck
  7. just started to do my own work on my own saws i guess this i this is the right place to ask ...... A. Where do i get where do a get manuals from like for Haynes cars but you know for saws B. Where do i get parts from off tinternet c. Why are so many bloody screws... i always loose them d Where can i find cheap screws
  8. its a little hard to recommend much from the photos but here goes. if you can get yer hands on a tractor winch just rip the lot into the field live a far hinge and off she`ll go. if you've just got a turfer the yer limited cause cause of the speed. Take a little off the top so as it balanced and the turfer will do it but ....... give a gooooood set of signs either side set a man on each to stop the traffic for whence shes gonna pop.... oh i for got yep its goosed and why the inspector said to reduce is beyond me unless hes after a few year habitat

  22. got lumbered with an inspection for this baby not seen it before but now it landed in salford it colonized a good number of ash in the area apparently its been around in outlying cities and tows for a short time. I got a bit worried at first when i seen it the lady was getting on a little and in tears because people had complained about the enormous amount of caterpillars and on seeing them i could understand. as luck would have it the trees were self seeds and pushing up the backyard so they got the chop she was well pleased glad it wasn't a tpo or conservation area. fact is ive red these little blighter's can be wiped out by a harsh frost at late in may or strong wind which we haven't really had his year. so you happy entomologists in the north west look out for this one its coming to you soon
  23. that will do for me I've not seen it on Manna ash either But I was warned about it so I thought 'better look it up Just in Case I don't have to put in them daft Birch now
