  1. I second what Slack says. Cutter Mutter -real comfy!
  2. Ha! Ha! This reminds me of the scene in the film This Is England. When the lad goes to the shoe shop and wants a pair of Docs but the his mom and the sales assistant try and convince him to have a naff pair of boots instead - "These are from London" The kid was having none of it.Class! My boots of choice were cherry monkey boots with yellow laces(ages 9)

Hi AndrewS; If Dermot decides not to take up your offer please give me first refusal on the saw. I've got one that is being a pain in the proverbial and don't fancy the MS362 either!

Hodge; Who's the quote from if you don't mind me asking? A colleagues has gone up by 35% and he's after quotes to compare. Thanks Paul.
  8. Sorry to hear that Tim A dog is one of the crew but you have to treat them like an apprentice!
  9. I feel inadequate now with my purchase of a small Gransfors Forestry axe!
  10. Hi mate; Ever considered LOLER??!!!!
  11. i got mine for free yesterday with my new silky gomtaro for £30 bargain Mr D&K; where did you get it at this price?
  12. As you can see from my avatar I've got terriers includind a Border. She's the most chilled out terrier you could ever meet. The only time we know we've got her is when she gets startled - she goes off the scale! We call her The Barking Cat cos if she had her way she would basically eats and sleeps. Good luck with her mate.
  13. Shocking! What are some people like......he could have at least waited until the morning-must have been something veeeeerrry interesting on the box!!
  14. Recently read the book.A very determined and experienced guy who was ultra fit when the accident happened which obviously helped. Like most other people I can't answer whether I could do the same.....but would hope so!
  15. Paid £1.29.9 today at Tesco. Price has risen by 5p over the holiday period alone. I'm convinced the petrol stations have done this knowing that they will be adding a further increase from midnight tonight. Chap behind kiosk said it will rise a further 5p. I agree that people need to be more conscious of the needless journeys they make but it is making working life harder.
  16. When you going to take a look Rupe? You can always P.M. me if you need to go down the Mog and gang route.
  17. I haven't personally got a Mog but regularly work as a crew with a chap who owns one with a chip back on it.I can provide my TW150 and labour force.
  18. Am I the only one who couldn't concentrate on the long haired guy in the first clip cus of the chick in the background?!
  19. Sorted the starter motor out today using the kit bought off Ebay from repairkitsuk.Had to jump the battery to kick start the truck battery so will see if there is any seepage from the battery before replacing. So thats one problem solved............ .........Now the new problem is that the key is stuck in the ignition barrel!
  20. Went and picked up a starter repair kit from Cannock. The guy was really helpful and if it works then it was a tenner well spent. His shop is on Ebay: repairkitsuk. He thought that if I can get the truck up on high ramps then the job can be done without removing the starter motor itself but wasn't sure if that applied to a Discovery and not a Defender.
  21. No joy with the truck today! numerous attempts at turning the starter motor.A case of close but no cigar - so the battery must be holding a charge?! Took a look at the repair kit on Ebay and it looks easy enough to fit the replacement bits. Just got to find the part number on the starter motor so I can order the correct kit.Can this number be seen before removing the motor so I can get it on order?Looked from above but couldn't see it so will have to dig a snow tunnel underneath to have a look!
  22. Hi Dave

Just thought I'd drop you a line to say hello from a fellow Kiddy dweller.

    All the best

    Paul.
