  9. Call out is really based for highways and utilities. If a punter insists you come out , go out do the work then hit em with the costs. A mate of mine had 24 hr call out on his web site and got a call at 5 in the morning to prune a apple tree for a marquee for a kids party he said yeah that will be five hundred quid for us to do it first job and the customer said fine go ahead.

  23. I need some help people please , I have recently dragged a david brown 1212 out of the brambles , it has been there 6 or 7 years but with a little work it runs sweet as a nut . My question is what configeration do all of the levers have to be to get the hydraulic splitter working . The arms work quickly but the ram on the splitter is very slow , what am I doing wrong. cheers in advance.

Personally whilst the AAAC sets e benchmark it is my opinion the iso9001 is a better one to go for , the arb approved contractors are plentyful now where as before it was a way of getting a couple of steps in front of the competition. I might be wrong but councils or anyone can not insist the contractor is AAAC but has to work to those standards.
