  1. all the deaths from this, the deceased all had serious underlying health problems, so how can they be certain that it was the swine flu that killed them? Maybe it just speeded the process up ( i know that sounds a bit harsh but it is a question the coroner or pathologists would ask themselves i'm sure.)

Heard the shocking news of the loss of the commanding officer of the first battalion, The Welsh Guards and a trooper of the Royal Tank Regiment as well as the death of two tornado crewmen from RAF leuchars whilst on a training mission. thoughts are with their families and colleagues at this time.

I was reading on the MOD website that the Queen has created a new honour for the families of those who have fallen on active service since 1948 called the Elizabeth Cross; I know that groups of people such as the population of malta can be awarded the George Cross, maybe the town of Wooton Bassett could be awarded the Elizabeth cross for what they have done?

  8. i just have the visors on my helmets and one on a headband with ear defenders for strimming in hot weather. the only solution i can offer is to buy a pair of frames designed for sports and have polycarbonate lenses put in. I wear oakley prescription glasses and sunglasses when i'm working and they have stood up to some hammer. only problem is the price:scared1:

  18. most of those the college will have in its own library so its just a matter of finding the ones you can afford and getting the others out of the library for assignments etc as and when you can.

  23. was that at the stand next to nod's with the tipi and throwing axes and the furs. if so the clothing company is called fjellraeven, a scandinavian company and rather pricy. Try hoggs of fife they might stock something similar at a slightly cheaper price.
  24. didn't need to buy much seeing as i won the prize draw on saturday:001_tongue: but i did buy some beeline, a cambium saver, a couple of books, subscription to essential arb and i think thats about it.
